but considering macek had to string together 3 wholly unrelated anime's together and the fact that its NOT a mess or a disaster and still endures and macross is still around should be proof that its not awfull

I was gutted when the Thundercats reboot was cancelled after one season, that show was really well animated with well fleshed out characters and story lines and wasn't afraid to get dark, so naturally they shit-can it.

As for the original series, as much as I love the 80's, Thundercats makes He-Man look straight by comparison.

i have 1 of those
blue boxes for the macross saga 3 dvd's per box yeah ?

the 2004 "remaster"is the only one i know so i dont miss anything

I never liked the art style of TF Animated, but the show's acting and writing easily made up for it. So yeah, naturally it gets cancelled.

And yeah, my Robotech set has different coloured boxes in groups of three for each season with nice embossed covers.

Oh nice. I was disgusted to find out they ruined the audio in the remastered release. I'm still hoping Harmony Gold will pull their fingers out and give us dual audio Blu-Ray remasters.

...but then Harmony Gold are just about as stubborn as Lucas.

is that before or after disney released proper cleaned up laser disc master transfers of the original star wars trilogy ?

cause both are not likely to happen
