Disney will rerelease all Star Wars movies on digital platforms and adds tons of bonus material on top of it.
Google PlayStore also already lists is for preorders, revealing the not superb, but still acceptable pricing: https://play.google.com/store/movies/collection/promotion_4000f3d_star_wars

So, now I´m leaving the facts and entering the fields of speculation: Could it be that GOG is among those stores who will able to offer it?!
If they´d get their hands on it, I´d definitly pay the full 85€ for it! At least in my eyes this would be totally acceptable price if you remember how hard it is to get on DRM-free movies in 1080P without illegal steps!
This would be the first step for GOG to enter Hollywood Movies! This would be the first time you can buy both movies and games from the same franchise on GOG! This would give movies on GOG a REAL REASON!

I´m totally hyped! Don´t disappoint me, Disney! ;)
i got a better question
are these the blu ray versions ?
and are the original ones pre special edition included or not ?
That would be a day one buy if it were on GOG. I doubt that will happen though.

Can´t tell for sure, but I guess 1) Yes & 2) No.
Anyways, the Bluray-Versions are cheaper, but not DRM-free...
Star Wars on a notebook. Yeah that wouldn't suck too much. :P
It is the same as the Blurays btw.

Good idea.
I saw some stills from the digital release and I don't think you'd like it.

For now lets call it the original edition of the trilogy.
The Star Wars movies would be perfect for the six releases at a time format GOG has been using. Fingers crossed.
These better be the originals and not the blu ray ones... and is google's movies DRM free? or I need to use the google account for it?
