Actually, if you count the uncensored version of The Witcher II that has been regionally blocked a loong time ago, there are two games that can't be baught with Australian IP, the number of regionally locked games by now is 4 afaik.

Sadly it's to be expected when you get Geeks, Nerds and Fanboys pooled together. I honestly have yet to find a single fandom that isn't prone to stupidity and pointless arguments over non-sense.

Godzilla fandom you have fans that only count the japanese versions as being definitive, fans that only count dubs as definitive, fans that count both, fans that don't mind the 98 Godzilla but don't see it as a Godzilla film just a Kaiju film, others who think it should be buried and forgotten, and some who like it and thought it was better then the 2014 film.

Oh then there is the Super Sentai/Power Rangers fandoms.. good lord do they ever get stupid especially the Sentai purists who love to argue how the Sentai is better because it's more serious and having personally seen almost every sentai from the original Himitsu Sentai Gorenger to Ressha Sentai ToQger I can tell you that is not the case..at times it's actually more sillier like with Gokaiger or Kyoryuger but in those case they will say that the Power Ranger counter parts changed the tone of the Sentai.

Then there's the arguments from both sides with the Sentai fans saying that Power Rangers should just do straight copies of the original Sentai series and bitch when the Power Rangers season is too different from the Sentai they are adapting while PR fans bitch that it should be the opposite and complain when the Power Rangers season is too close to the Sentai.

Oh then there is the long time Marvel vs DC fanboy nonsense.. honestly though as I said it's to be expected since more die hard a fan is the more obsessive they are and when it comes to fandoms and fan communities they tend to be the truly to the point of irrational behavior and attitude obsessive ones.

i am actually a "die hard" marvel fan i prefer marvel over dc

if you give em 2 stacks of comics one marvel one dc i will make a beeline for the stack of marvel comics and reread all the marvel comics three times before i fish the batman comics out of the dc stack

however i dont really read anything current from marvel anymore
all the damn reboots have pretty much demolished by interest

why am I surprised by that some mostly forgotten 80's toy has a fandom. I really should have known better by now..given that their are MLP fandom, Snorks Fandom, Littlest Pet Shop Fandom, hell Manos "Hands of Fate" one of the worst films ever has a fandom.. to name a few. I swear they should change Rule 34 from if it exists there is porn of it to if it exists there is a fandom for it since truth be told it's more accurate.

I was just thinking about the original Clash of the Titans movie. The models may have looked unrealistic with their jerky movements, but that film had a certain charm the remake couldn't get close to, despite its visual affects being as impressive as they were.

The original felt... epic! You could feel you were watching an adventure, and not just a bunch of action sequences strung together. Even now, I can remember far more moments from the classic version than I can from the remake... and I'm battling to think of even one now! OK... the scorpions scene... and that's it!

I'll never knock that movie, Medusa was one creepy beast. Harryhausen really took it to the next level with her.
