Let me tell you something, you Trekkies are all a bunch of overprivileged pretty boys, just like your Kirk! The man comes from a rich family, goes to best schools, has people kissing his ass every step of the way, and gets handed the best ship in the galaxy with the full backing of an entire fleet that thinks the sun rises and sets in his pants, despite his myriad of attempts to throw it all away.

Luke on the other hand had to work for it. His mother is dead at birth, his father a robotic freak, he has to pretty much raise himself in the goddamn desert with no semblance of a traditional education but for a senile old man and a green midget. And when he finally gets his ass up and makes his move, what kind of support does he have? He gets a snub fighter being held together with duck tape, a criminal for a best friend, and his sister as the only remote possibility for losing his virginity. Yet through all of it he maintains his cool and saves the galaxy. I dare Kirk to pull that off!

Unless it's the original, unaltered versions of the original trilogy I really don't get what the hype is about. It's not like I can't go to any store and get all six movies on DVD or Bluray.

HMV in my city has the whole set of 1 to 6 on dvd that was released before the blu ray ones and it's 30 for each set 1-3 and 3-6. so 60 in total for all 6 movies

24.99 each movie? pretty expensive now that you see it thinking google they might have had the movie section a little more free lol

You know, when they remastered Star Trek with new FX... it was actually very well done. Shame Star Wars does not get that kind of treatment! :D
