makaikishi: God forbid Beamdog making Baldur's Gate 3.

And someone should tell Beamdog to keep political agendas out of video games in general.
The gods have answered our pleas re BG 3. Hopefully, no SJW / political crap would be present this time.

YES!

Praise Mystra!

No bigoted hateful cancer-ridden low-IQ developers working on the series anymore!

Hopefully they won't inject their cringy humor into the game, but even if they do, its much better than SJW filth infesting Baldur's Gate III. Oh happy days!

Larian humour from Divine Divinity to Divinity 2 and even Divinity Original Sin 1 wasn't that bad. I never really found it like the stuff that'd make you stop and roll your eyes or cringe. It was good harmless fun. Divinity Original Sin 2's humour was pretty bad though, it didn't feel at all like the same stuff from their other games, didn't work at all for me.

That's the thing: humour is like beauty, it's in the eye (or ears) of the beholder. What provokes a smile in one person may well provoke a cringe, or even anger in another.

Has Beamdog done anything other than screw up the classic D&D games? Like, aside from their BG expansions. Have they made any completely original games? If not I don't see much reason for them to exist

I blame Beamdog less than i blame their customers personally. if people buy it....

I owned the original BG 1 and 2 on GOG. I haven't installed them in a while, and wanted to do the "combine them into 1 seamless game" thing as i have in the past. But the games are gone, and I don't have anything regarding Baldurs Gate even associated with my account? What can I do?

First, make sure you don't have them hidden. If they're truly not there contact support.

I have. They are jerking me around. I bought a new pc a couple months ago and all I have left in my BG folders was all the extra stuff like maps, soundtracks, etc from the info switch between the pcs. The exe file from BG2 was still there, however, and I sent that as proof as it is a GOG exe. No response. I am really pissed.

That is no proof. Go to gog.com and select your orders and settings. Your purchase will be in there. Show them that.

Also, no response may be just because it's the weekend when they have skeleton staff.

markmandoo: Wow! Just in absolute awe, this was quite a surprise as soon as I saw Dishonored images. Now I hope the next games to be released are DOOM 2016 and Skyrim Legendary Edition. I absolutely despise the Creation Club baked into TES V: Skyrim Special Edition on Steam.
I don't know what you are talking about.
