deonast: Well mine is pre-ordered here but that won't change things I was stuck with the censored version of witcher 2 last time. In the end on a later gog sale I got a international version gifted to my account (bought from an account that wasn't Australian based). So in effect I bought witcher 2 twice to get the uncensored version :(

olnorton: You didn't need to do that.
The only difference in the Aus version of Witcher 2 was the removal of two dazip files from the cookedpc directory.
Those two small files were readily available on the net (even here at GOG)
It's funny because I had googled a bit around the time and couldn't quite sus out the difference. I had downloaded an illegal copy at one point and had noted the difference were in the setup_the_witcher_2.bin file. But then the ehhaced edition update came out and I wasn't sure if they would have changed more and couldn't find a download so ended up just buying again to be sure. I've still not got around to playing it. I've only just upgrade the PC (graphics card to go) to something that would handle it properly anyway.

Gilozard: If the nudity is optional or someone comes out with an always-wear-underwear mod, I'll consider getting this. I really like deep open world RPGs. Until then, it's just not my cup of tea and I'm not going to spend money on it. It's irritating, and I wish the devs were more open to different preferences.
I guess you probably haven't played the earlier Witcher games either because as others have mentioned they do not revolve around sex and nudity. It is all either optional or can be skipped so the devs have taken that into consideration. On the other hand there are a lot of movies with sex and nudity as well where its not optional but you have the choice to not consume such media. Would you ask the creators to accommodate different preferences for those movies clearly meant for an adult audience as well?

The devs don't have to pander to anyone and if some people still have a problem with their vision despite the objectionable content being optional then its their problem. If you don't wish to play games made for adults then you can just wait for the next Zelda game on WIiU which is supposed to be open world for the first time in the series.

LiquidOxygen80: ITT: People with poor reading comprehension. It's not 16 hours of sex scenes, ya dumdums. It took 16 hours to capture the MOCAP FOR the sex scenes. Yeesh.
What?!? That can't be true! I want 16 hours of sex scenes to Witcher 3, I consider it promised already.

Do we need a petition to have 16 hours of sex scenes in TW3, or is a GOG wishlish entry enough?

And it has to be DRM-free sex scenes, no locks nor chains.

timppu: And it has to be DRM-free sex scenes, no locks nor chains.
There is definitely no locks, but I think some chains may be involved .
I hope they didn't do the motion capture in the same studio the developers work out of. Otherwise it is wticher 3 delayed due to 16 hours of distractions. Developers said it was hard to work in that environment.
And for all the people claiming the cutscenes cannot be avoided, seriously, most cinematics in games I watch once and Esc/Enter/whatever out of them the snd time through. If you are so worried you can very likely do the same in Witcher 3. Cutscenes are almost never mandatory.

You can't skip them in Soul Reaver. Almost killed the game for me.

This would be even more hilarious than endurance hits for too much sex!

Dear CDPR.

I can't believe it happened to me!

James175: Come on guys. You do not need 16 hours of sex in your game to make a person care about a character. You are turning your game into nothing more than a porn game that objectifies women and adds fuel to the growing rape culture.

I could not do the first Witcher game because of the sex in it. Do you think I am going to try the third game? No.

If you have a problem with the content of any given piece of work or media just don't partake in it.

I swear, why is it some people think EVERYTHING has to suit THEIR tastes all the time?

Because we're living in a era of political correcteness

Its the era of insecure betas and sex negatives, who want everything to conform to their idea of what makes any given work of art, music or literature(most games tend to be a mix of at least two of these) "progressive" for society.

And if it doesn't conform, its regressive rape propaganda that must be shouted, protested and whined into oblivion(and not the fun kind with cheese and intestinal skip-rope).....

That's what I meant about political correcteness.
If it doesn't suit my MY tastes,it's automaticaly racist, homophobic and sexist.

Its fine if someone wants to not support or partake of any given piece of artistic work that offends their personal sensibilities. That's A-OK in my book.
What the problem is when some of these people on the right AND now even more so, the left try to impose their ideas of what constitutes whats good for the rest of humanity.

Look at people trying to remove games from Steam like Huniepop for sexual content and Hatred for violence. Neither of these games look like anything I want to play, but I'm not trying to take them from anyone else and it boggles my mind why anyone would.

You can disagree with certain content, that's your right but you going out of your way to have it banned because said you disagree with said content, that's too far. That's jamming your point of view down our collective throats and I really don't like that.
I think that's what you're trying to say?

More or less, English isn't my first language and I wanted to throw in a couple recent examples.
