One of the most anticipated releases of this year is now available on GOG in its full glory – Baldur’s Gate 3 from Larian Studios. The time has come to gather your party, and return to the Forgotten Realms in a tale of fellowship and betrayal, sacrifice and survival, and the lure of absolute power.

Digital Deluxe Edition Upgrade is also available in our catalog. Remember that if you’ve purchased the game during its early access, you will get the Upgrade for free!

After more than 20 years you once again immerse yourself in one of the most iconic series of video games and embark on the grand RPG adventure that is here to redefine the genre, just like the original entry did all those years ago.

Prepare for the expansive and original story, a vast, detailed and diverse world, a grand, cinematic narrative, great character customization, evolved, turn-based combat based on the D&D 5e ruleset, and just so much more. Prepare for Baldur’s Gate 3!

In the third entry of this iconic series, mysterious abilities are awakening inside you, drawn from a Mind Flayer parasite planted in your brain. You are turning into a monster, but as the corruption inside you grows, so does your power. That power may help you to survive, but there will be a price to pay, and more than any ability, the bonds of trust that you build within your party could be your greatest strength.

You’ll choose from a wide selection of D&D races and classes, or play as an origin character with a hand-crafted background. Adventure, loot, battle and romance as you journey through the Forgotten Realms and beyond. Play alone, and select your companions carefully, or as a party of up to four in multiplayer.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is truly a next generation RPG. Forged with the new Divinity 4.0 engine, it gives you unprecedented freedom to explore, experiment, and interact with a world that reacts to your choices. A grand, cinematic narrative brings you closer to your characters than ever before, as you venture through Larian’s biggest world yet.

The Forgotten Realms are as alive as they’ve never been, filled with detail and secrets to discover. Here, no adventure will ever be the same, and how you survive, and what mark you leave on the world, is up to you.

Of course, such a grand release is bound to completely overtake our gaming sessions. That’s why we’d like to invite you to join not one, not two, but seven Baldur’s Gate 3 streams on our Twitch Channel! Some of them will include a multiplayer adventure, here’s a schedule:

Thursday, August 3rd, 8 PM UTC, NoodleBeefNoodle
Friday, August 4th, 7 PM UTC, Multiplayer: KaurTube and Marc
Saturday, August 5th, 1 AM UTC, LovelustGames
Saturday, August 4th, 12 PM UTC, Multiplayer: Inanda and her son RockAndRollNerd
Sunday, August 6th, 11am UTC, KingArgaroth
Sunday, August 6th, 5 PM UTC, Multiplayer: DarkSaber2k and Piranjade
Monday, August 7th, 9 PM UTC, Kaurtube

See you in the chat!

Prepare for an unforgettable adventure no matter if you’re a series veteran, a complete newcomer, an RPG lover or somebody who wants to try out the genre for the first time. Baldur’s Gate 3 will most likely steal your heart and provide hundreds of hours of fun.

Note: to ensure a smooth launch experience we strongly recommend you take the following steps shared in this support article.

The wait is over and we know that you are ready. Time to roll for initiative and begin the journey – Baldur’s Gate 3 is OUT NOW!

WingsOfRequiem: The Digital Deluxe upgrade is still not available :/

Come on guys I would like to play the game please

TT_TT_TT_TT: For me it showed as owned when opening - https://www.gog.com/en/game/baldurs_gate_3_digital_deluxe_edition_upgrade and i could manually select it in Galaxy under DLC Selection after installing the main game (like was not autoadded but i could install it after downloading the main game)
for me, it's not showing under Manage Installation->Configure->DLC, it shows "No results"

and in the store it's showing me that I need to buy it, despite owning EA for over a year now I think
I Wish I can one day buy Digital extra bonus as separate DLC for D:OS2. Same like for BG3.
But buying the whole game once again just for soundtrack?
No, thanks Larian.
It's August 3rd and it feels like Christmas.

Unrelated note: I remember a few users who outright promised me that Larian will pull the plug on early access, and then take my cash and run; leaving me with no game. I'm curious to know if they would admit they were wrong, or if they would just move the goalpost.
The WAV soundtrack on GOG seems to be incomplete, it's missing 9 out of the 43 tracks.
Just purchased the game - waiting to download now....

I deliberately stayed from the EA as I prefer experiencing the game as a whole. See you on the other side.

HAHAHAHAHA. No. That sort has no integrity of any kind whatsoever.

MegisED: The WAV soundtrack on GOG seems to be incomplete, it's missing 9 out of the 43 tracks.
Tracks 4, 14, 16, 22, 25, 26, 31, 33 and 43, specifically.
I watched some video reviews of this game, and as expected from the artwork and gameplay videos that were released earlier, literally every single character in the game is aesthetically displeasing to look at, a.k.a. ugly. D:OS 2 had that exact same problem too.

I'm not sure why games like this get such high ratings from most gamers despite all of the characters being hideous.

For me, that immense amount of visual displeasure greatly ruins my ability to enjoy such games which suffer from these problems.

I'll admit my character ain't a ten, but she isn't that bad...

They're not hideous at all. It's bizarre you'd even think so. Maybe go see an eye doctor.

Well even Larian said you should delete your mods before installing the real thing.

You're angry because you can't masturbate over the characters?

00063: If i learned anything from Divinity: OS2, i wouldn't bother with the download for a few months. It's probably a bug ridden mess at this point that'll receive annual updates on a daily basis, you better be careful not to miss any or end up downloading 120 gb all over again!

And good luck to you all in a year or two, downloading 300 gb when they release definitive edition and idiotically merge this version and the new one instead of providing a separate installation like they did with Divinity: OS2!
Indeed. I like Larian's games, but I'll never understand anyone who pre-orders them given it takes on average 5-8 years after they've been released to 'Actually Finish' (usually following the pattern of 1 year of patches then an Enhanced Edition re-release, then another 4-7 years of EE patches to fix all the bugs in the game:-

DOS 1 - Release : 30th June 2014. Enhanced : 27th Oct 2015. Final patch : 16th March 2022
DOS 2 - Release : 14th Sept 2017. Definitive : 31st Aug 2018. Final patch : 19th Sept 2022.
BG3 - Release : 4th Aug 2023. Enhanced (est) : Late 2024. Final patch (est) : 2028-2031.

If you just want the offline installer but don't want to re-download the same game 15x over, there's no rush.
