One of the most anticipated releases of this year is now available on GOG in its full glory – Baldur’s Gate 3 from Larian Studios. The time has come to gather your party, and return to the Forgotten Realms in a tale of fellowship and betrayal, sacrifice and survival, and the lure of absolute power.

Digital Deluxe Edition Upgrade is also available in our catalog. Remember that if you’ve purchased the game during its early access, you will get the Upgrade for free!

After more than 20 years you once again immerse yourself in one of the most iconic series of video games and embark on the grand RPG adventure that is here to redefine the genre, just like the original entry did all those years ago.

Prepare for the expansive and original story, a vast, detailed and diverse world, a grand, cinematic narrative, great character customization, evolved, turn-based combat based on the D&D 5e ruleset, and just so much more. Prepare for Baldur’s Gate 3!

In the third entry of this iconic series, mysterious abilities are awakening inside you, drawn from a Mind Flayer parasite planted in your brain. You are turning into a monster, but as the corruption inside you grows, so does your power. That power may help you to survive, but there will be a price to pay, and more than any ability, the bonds of trust that you build within your party could be your greatest strength.

You’ll choose from a wide selection of D&D races and classes, or play as an origin character with a hand-crafted background. Adventure, loot, battle and romance as you journey through the Forgotten Realms and beyond. Play alone, and select your companions carefully, or as a party of up to four in multiplayer.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is truly a next generation RPG. Forged with the new Divinity 4.0 engine, it gives you unprecedented freedom to explore, experiment, and interact with a world that reacts to your choices. A grand, cinematic narrative brings you closer to your characters than ever before, as you venture through Larian’s biggest world yet.

The Forgotten Realms are as alive as they’ve never been, filled with detail and secrets to discover. Here, no adventure will ever be the same, and how you survive, and what mark you leave on the world, is up to you.

Of course, such a grand release is bound to completely overtake our gaming sessions. That’s why we’d like to invite you to join not one, not two, but seven Baldur’s Gate 3 streams on our Twitch Channel! Some of them will include a multiplayer adventure, here’s a schedule:

Thursday, August 3rd, 8 PM UTC, NoodleBeefNoodle
Friday, August 4th, 7 PM UTC, Multiplayer: KaurTube and Marc
Saturday, August 5th, 1 AM UTC, LovelustGames
Saturday, August 4th, 12 PM UTC, Multiplayer: Inanda and her son RockAndRollNerd
Sunday, August 6th, 11am UTC, KingArgaroth

The wait is over and we know that you are ready. Time to roll for initiative and begin the journey – Baldur’s Gate 3 is OUT NOW!
But is there a slider for the female pelvic genitalia as well?

(Can you guess which word is censored by GOG's forum software?)

Is it pussy? I bet it's pussy.

I find it ironic that they censor anything at all when selling porn games on the front page. Kind of a cognative dissonance there.

EDIT: Ironically, I was wrong about the censored word.

EDIT: labia

EDIT: vajina. Since you won't let me spell it correctly and want to censor the technical term for a birth canal... WTF is wrong with you, GOG?

GamezRanker: I wouldn't say the characters look that bad.....that said, I find it interesting(though i'm not
surprised to see) that there is a junk customization option, but not a breast customization option.

*Larian puts in junk customization options*
NuGamers(and review sites): "It's totally cool having more options!"

*Larian THINKS about putting in breast customization options*
NuGamers(and review sites): "Omg that's totally misogynistic! How.....dare....you"
avatar
Disco Cactuar: Oddly enough, I'm seeing the exact oppostie play out. People pearl clutching over having junk customization while simulataneously complaining that there's no breast slider.
I may be wrong, but I think the complaint isn't that they find the former offensive or are so badly missing the latter, just that including only one is hypocritical.

What is odder for me is everyone's assumption that breast customization is the option for misogynistic guys to play with. As if female players can't possibly want to create a busty Red Sonja type character.

Yep, it's the non-slang version :))

Clownski_: We'll look into it, thanks guys!

CMiq: According to gogdb.org the incomplete version (1.7 GB) was replaced by the presumably complete one (2.2 GB) a few hours ago.
The download link in the library however, instead of pointing at bg_ost_wav.zip refers to a bgost_wav.zip (note the missing underscore) which downloads a corrupt 620 MB file.

Adding the missing underscore still downloads the old incomplete 1.7 GB zip archive.
I downloaded the file again and had the exact same problem you described. The new zip file containing the soundtrack is indeed corrupted.

leahcim_h: Do you get paid for defending Larian?
Do you get paid for attacking Larian?
If not, its you who should see a doctor. You keep telling people to not live in the past, to move on and finally buy a few tb ssds AND you defend graphics that look like they were coded fifteen years ago. BG3 at best is Skyrim-level, nowhere near to a quality title like A Plague Tale.
LOL.

Genital customization is quite basic though:

There are 3 models: penis uncut, penis cut, vulva
Size can't be changed.
Each model has 2-3 pubes options.

(Dragonborn have 2 options, vulva or penis)
best game of the year after Dave Dive

J Lo: I faced the same dilemma when I levelled up Lizzy (is it okay if I call Lae'zel Lizzy?)
avatar
NuffCatnip: What's your party setup?

Mine's Karlach as a Wildheart Barbarian, Lae'Zel as a Battle Master fighter, Shadowheart as my Cleric and my half-orc MC which is a Berserker barbarian. I will probably face a couple problems with my almost completely melee focused party, but I think I'll be mostly fine, I can swap Gale in when I'm in a pinch. :P
I'm not really sure, I started from scratch for the dozenth time :(

I'm tempted to go with an all martial party, since in the previous two games you needed a thief and an arcane caster (I know it wasn't mandatory, but not having those made the game more difficult).

I think we'll get Baldur's Gate 10 before I actually finish the game XD

I included the web comic to help illustrate my problem.

Swedrami: Anyone wondering about the alleged SSD requirement - looks like it's actually more of a recommendation than anything else.
Maybe it's a tad snappier on a SSD, but Baldur's Gate 3 boots up, runs, saves, loads and basically functions just as expected, and despite not meeting this particular requirement.

leahcim_h: Interesting!

eric5h5: They're not hideous at all. It's bizarre you'd even think so. Maybe go see an eye doctor.

The game is at worst (in terms of graphics) mid X-box One/PS4 era. I can see the pores on my character's skin. Something that can't be done in Skyrim.

There's also an HDD option to help with this kind of drive. Keep in mind you'll probably need more RAM.

Unfortunately i can not get my BG3 at launch; my PC issues was just costing me near endless coins and now i am kinda coin-less. So, while in theory i own capable hardware, i now need to buy food for a good while...
Nope, my body is not having similarities to a walrus... so, food will need to come first. This game is a lot of bread and rice now... simply a hard fact.

Stll confusing, some people are moaning about "not able to get a capable SSD", yet still apparently able to buy the game at launch. A capable 2 TB SSD is now about the price of this game: https:/.../www.newegg.com/silicon-power-2tb/p/0D9-0021-00136
SATA even cheaper, but worse performance: https:/.../www.newegg.com/team-group-2tb-cx2/p/N82E16820331573

Or do you want a 2 TB SSD even for a bread with some butter? You cant be serious...

Enjoy!

As per the option's description, it's also distributing/re-directing load into the GPU's VRAM.

For some reason it keeps disabling the feature after restarting, and you have to tick the box again everytime.

Thanks for clearing that up. I apologize for not reading it properly.
How is on stability, does it BSoD systems with its custom engine on certain GPUs/drivers? Heard stuff about that from some people for inDev.

It's not just as simple as getting a new drive. In particular, the new drive may need to be installed, which involves things like opening up the computer, and may not always be possible without removing an existing drive, meaning the data (and possibly the OS install) needs to be migrated. Or the computer might simply not support that type of SSD.

Also, bigger games mean more download times (meaning more time before you can play the game you purchased), more install times (ditto), and more load times (meaning that, once you actually get the game installed and running, there's going to be times you're twiddling your thumbs waiting for an unskippable load screen to pass).

(Worth noting that the on-disk size of the game is at least an order of magnitude higher than what I already consider to be excessive.)

Also, plenty may have prebuilt computers that are sealed for warranty purposes and still under warranty, so they can't break the seal. And many of those who could just won't feel comfortable changing hardware.
But, past specifics, it's the general idea of what would work and what should work on one's computer as it is, not what could they change to make it work. And if something won't work on the existing system, the question becomes why, is it justified, couldn't it have been optimized better or couldn't have options for lower spec machines have been provided?
