For some reason, I can't seem to register The Witcher 1 [Retail] on my new PC.
Specs of PC - Asus Mobo Sabertooth X58; Intel i7 950 4-core processor; GeForce GTX 560 Ti; 8 GB RAM; Win 7 64-bit Home Premium.

I get an error anytime I try to connect to servers and log-in.
Are those servers down?

And, it even won't let me update w/ Patch 1.4 [Enhanced Edition] b/c I haven't registered this game on this new PC.

Ummm....help?

Slowly but surely more is being added to the official site. When I checked before I went to bed last night, Community and Support weren't there but now they are. Login and Register are still greyed out though. They have a countdown to the game's release (94520 seconds and counting!) but I'd actually prefer a countdown to the site's full relaunch.

It STILL won't even register, so I can update it to Enhanced Edition....

I guess this explains why I can't register or get any updates to the GoG version of the Witcher. Was going nuts trying to figure out why?

I'm in the same boat trying to get my game registered so I can add the Enhanced version.
So what happens in the future when the servers are no more and I try to reinstall my game?
They need to issue a fix to bypass this stupid online registration process.

True that. I'm having the same problem w/ registering my copy of The Witcher 2. Growl.

So I assume it has the 1.5 patch then? If that is the lastest correct patch?

Doesn't matter that much anyhow. I'm playing the game. Though I would like to register it one of these days. Still keep getting the 404 error page.

Yep, that's final patch and comes with GOG version already.

Anyone know when the registration servers will be back for witcher. I have a retail copy 1.3 that I want to update to 1.4/1.5.

I know this isn't a gog issue; but still email to support at cd project are ignored which really makes me angry - stupid drm makes me want to avoid them in the future.
