Best buy was probably King of Dragon Pass. Such a cool and interesting game. Really fantastic.

My biggest regret is probably Eador: Genesis. I know that it is a super popular game, but it really became a slog for me. I just seemed like I was repeating the same level again and again for 2 minutes of dialogue at the end.
Regret Buy: Nothing at all

Favorite purchase: Duke Nukem 3D Atomic Edition, this game just doesn't get old at all.
Regret: Empire Earth series. I was disappointed with the last two, but the first one is not that fun at all.
Surprise: Arx Fatalis and The Guild
Favorite: XIII and Arcanum.
The Witcher 2 - Don't Stone Me

After pre-ordering the Retail Collector's Edition I thought it would be nice to have the Digital Edition and Pre-Ordered that as well. Turns out I could have waited and gotten that Digital Version for free.
My favorite purchase would have to be Baldur's Gate 2 Complete since it enabled me to play through Throne of Bhaal for the first time ever.

It's hard to say what my biggest regret buy on GOG would be since I haven't gotten around to playing some of the games I bought. My biggest regret based on what I actually played would probably either be Arcanum or Unreal II since I lost interest in playing them at around the start of the games.

Navagon: Regret:
Gothic 2 - Even my fundamental problems with it are moot given the fact it flat out doesn't work now.
I agree too. Gothic 1 and 2 didn't run on my PC. They were totally waste of money. :(
My favorite are Baldur's Gate 1, Broken Sword 1 and Gabriel Knight 1 because these were only finished games on my GOG purchases. Haha.

"Picking the best is like picking the best Beatles song" ... I agree. But if I have to pick, it would be To The Moon. Song, story, simple play.

The worst (at this time, since there are other game I haven't play yet) is Arcanum. Strange since I love RPG but there is something with this game that made me couldn't be bothered to play past that crashed blimp and just a few screens more.

Strangely, the game that I kept replaying is MM6 and MM7.

FantasyNightmare: REGRETS:
Roller Coaster Tycoon 1
King's Bounty: Crossworlds

FAVORITE:
If I had to choose 1, it'd be Ground Control 2
Just want to clarify, why Roller Coaster Tycoon 1?
Regret: ROTT 2013: Was not complete at release.
Loved: UT 2004,Roller Coaster Tycoon 1&2, Duke 3d.

Favourite GOG game? So many to choose from.. Maybe System Shock 2 because it's brilliant and also for the reason that it was my first purchase from here. Or maybe Thief Gold, or, or..

My regret would have to be Capsized. Seems like a nice game... If I could actually get it to run at a decent frame-rate! Not much fun as-is. Tried contacting the developer twice, but they can't be bothered to respond. GOG support tried to help. No avail.

The game should run okay on my PC but doesn't. I have heard of people with far more powerful dedicated gaming PCs struggling to get good FPS on this game. Going to ask for my money back.
Does this thread smell strange already? Ah, nvm:

The game i was happy about the most would certainly be System Shock 2. Finally be able to have a legal uncensored copy!

I don't regret any of my purchases. I got Aqua Kitty and Mutant Blobs Attack during the "Lucky"-sale and they don't appeal to me very much (in fact, I never tried them). But maybe my kids will like them one day.

pds41: Postal Complete and Uncut for biggest regret - not that it's a bad game - it's the Zoolander-esque "uni-turner" bug that gets me.

tinyE: There are patches for that, but finding them is a bitch.
Is he GOG version still not working right?
I found this thread on the actual Running with Scissors forum where they're saying that GOG weren't very helpful with patching their games, which is sad...

I don't regret any purchase here. Sure, there are games I don't see myself playing in near future but it's always nice to have them. Maybe one day I'll be in a proper mood to give them a try...
On the other hand the days The Cat Lady, Deadly Premonition, Downfall and Harvester came here were one of the best moments of my gaming days :)

That is the problem with old threads. :P NOW Postal works great but back in September when I posted that it wasn't. I actually made a joke a couple of months ago when the UPDATE came in that the game was going to be too easy now that you could actually control your character. :P
Regret: Of the ones I've been able to find time to play (which is not a long list, I'll admit), Roller Coaster Tycoon 1. It's not a huge regret, and more comes from the fact that RCT 2 is very similar while adding on more options.

But then, considering I spent $10.47 on all three games, 'regret' is a bit more of a relative term.
