That may be the stumbling block for many. And for some bookworms also. I love books, but wouldn't want to read one on screen. The only exception is my Paperwhite. :)
I never got into Planescape Torment even though I really wanted to, but may possibly get into Numenera once the game comes out. It's just... an awful lot of text, and for the most part, my glasses are screeching from the itty-bittyness of the fonts on a 17-inch screen. :|

A little bit SimCity 2000 and Age of Wonders 3 which somehow doesn't capture me like it's predecessors. Maybe I'm currently not in the mood for turn-based games.
I also played Far Cry 2 and started Shattered Steel. But for whatever reason the game has problems with my mouse because sometimes the movement is lagging and I can't change weapons in the armoury. I also have to click the mousebutton for every shot instead of keeping the button pressed for continued fire.

I'll tell you what I'm not playing right now, and that's anything that requires Origin Login.

Fortunately I have some DRM free games.

But I'd still recommend everybody to at least try it.

I love it, there's so much goodness in it. It would make a proper GOG release too. ;)
Actually, The River of Time is prequel. ;)

I've been playing Witcher 3. Really like it so far, best game in the series. Hate the quest level mechanic, though.

I would love to see it on GOG too, especially to have all games on one platform, I could get Drakensang the Dark Eye only on Gamersgate, and River of Time and Phileasson's secret shackled by Steam DRM. GOG could make it more compatible with windows 10 as well. As of now, I can only start the game properly by using a command line command to make the game run windowed, then press F11 for fullscreen once the game starts. If I set the settings itself to fullscreen, the game hangs.

Just finished the first 'real' (not the tutorial dungeon on the beginning) dungeon, the stone keep in TES:Arena.
My Breton battle mage is now level 7. Because of too few Mana(and seems like Mana don't regenerate automatically), I fought monsters with a broad sword/shield or a longbow rather than using fire arrow spell.
Some enemies were really tough such as ghoul, minotaurs and spider. Using shield spell helped a bit.
After a few battles, I had to rest to regenerate HP and Mana. but often I was attacked by monsters whole resting.
While fighting ghouls, I got a disease status and I cant return a town by the first travel (if do, I was killed). Fortunately one of loot items was a cure disease potion and I was healed by it.
After returned a town, I learned cure poison, cure paralyze and fire ball spells in a magic guild. I want to learn a cure disease spell but the guild didn't have that one. I bought a cure disease potion instead.
I'm going to go the fang lair dungeon for taking a part of the magical staff, which is the purpose of the game.

Drakensang: The Dark Eye, 109 hours now.
My Char is level 16 now, shes a healer/ thief / mage / sword and shield fighter. Well I think she has turned into a Rogue Paladin ^^
My Party is
Myself Charlatan shield+sword/fencing foil
Forgrimm shield+Axe
Rhulana shield+sabre
Gwendala Bow / shield+sword / daggers[I know!] throwing weapons / healer / summon pet [sprite beer]
Great fun, the Game starts off slow, but if you stick with it, it's really rewarding. The humor is great as well
I bought River of time during the winter sale £3.99 I think
All the best

I played a little Defender 2000 this morning. I'll probably put in some more time later on but this game really comes off as a bit of a misfire and it's largely because your ship is massive compared to the original game, and the issue is exacerbated by how fast it plays. Maybe it it was in widescreen it world work better, but as it is you're practically dead after you start moving because you have only a split-second to shoot or avoid what's coming at you. What was Jeff Minter thinking?

Dark Cloud on the PS4.
I almost finished this game years ago, but when I got to the final dungeon I ended up breaking a bunch of weapons one character used (don't remember how I even did that). At that point I just gave up since I didn't feel like grinding a few more hours just to get a few weapons to progress.

FYI, the Drakensang Complete Saga (DVD version) has no Steam; just install and play. No "activation limits" or "net connection needed" or other gimmicks. In the back side of the DVD box it says about Steamworks, it also has the logo of Steam, but it is actually wrong; it's completely installable & playable offline, without the need of any sort of account. ;)
