Game: GUN
Installer MD5: 1aa8771ad239d9020c939db2e171e72a setup_gun_2.0.0.3.exe
WineHQ AppDB link: https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=application&iId=3748
CodeWeavers link: https://www.codeweavers.com/compatibility/crossover/gun

Distro: Linux Mint 18.3 Cinnamon 64-bit
Kernel version: 4.13.0-32
Graphics card: AMD RX 480 8GB
Graphics driver & version: Open source, with Mesa 17.3.2 from Padoka's stable Mesa PPA
Wine version(s) tested: Wine 3.0 (with CSMT enabled)

Install notes: Install & play.
Run the game from/create a shortcut for "Gun.exe"
How well does it run: Perfect
Details: Played for a few hours or so with the widescreen fix, all seems fine.

Widescreen support:
There is a widescreen fix available: https://thirteenag.github.io/wfp#gun
For it to work you'll need to add an override for "d3d9" (native, builtin). Also you must remove modupdater.asi before playing as it'll cause the game to break. Note that when running the game at a widescreen resolution the control settings menu may not display properly - to work around this temporarily run the game at a 4:3 or 5:4 resolution to configure the controls, then restart & play at your normal resolution.

Wine wrapper
I have put together a Linux Wine wrapper for this game. For more information, see the release thread in the game's forum: https://www.gog.com/forum/gun/gun_for_linux

Gydion: War Wind needs some love. Wine iccvid needs improvement, s'il vous plaît.
I am going to try something with my Wine tree on that component. 99% sure it won't work but at least I will know for science's sake :D
Anyone can say how GOG's BROTHERS: A TALE OF TWO SONS works with Wine?

JudasIscariot: Since the bug is reported hopefully someone from the Wine dev team will fix it :)
Hence the request.

No worries. I only expect complete success.

And my experiment was a complete failure. The code compiled but it didn't really work so it's back to waiting until whatever's broken with iccvid gets fixed by someone who actually knows what they are doing :P

Install d3dx9_43 to solve issues with the game speed in Wine 1.8.4.

d3dx9_43 (native,builtin)

If using PlayOnLinux, run the game from/create a shortcut for "PANZERS_PHASE_2.exe"
How well does it run:
Perfect with 1.8.4.
The game runs way too fast in 1.9.18-staging rendering it pretty much unplayable. Tested with CSMT enabled and disabled.
Details: Played the tutorial and a bit of the main game. Tested with virtual desktop.
Game: Tomb Raider 2
Installer MD5: ed1036acbe24b8e0828807486d141294 setup_tomb_raider2_2.1.0.11.exe
WineHQ AppDB link: https://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=application&iId=2829
CodeWeavers link: https://www.codeweavers.com/compatibility/crossover/tomb-raider-ii

Distro: Linux Mint 18 Cinnamon 64-bit
Kernel version: 4.4.0-38
Graphics card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 750Ti
Graphics driver & version: Proprietary 370.28
Wine version(s) tested: Wine Staging 1.9.19 via PlayOnLinux, CrossOver 15.3.0

Install notes: Mostly install & play - just set Windows version to Win98 before playing or it'll have issues with crashing/freezing.
If using PlayOnLinux, run the game from/create shortcut for "Tomb2.exe"
How well does it run: Perfect (aside from a minor issue with the config tool)
Details: Played for a while, seems to work perfectly. Tested with virtual desktop enabled.

The main game window will steal focus away from the configuration tool when you click anywhere on it (this does not happen with CrossOver); you can either drag the window out of the way or use the keyboard to adjust settings. Start the game with the argument /setup (or in CrossOver just run the "Setup" shortcut) if you want to access the config tool again.

Open source engine reimplementation "OpenTomb":
There is an engine reimplementation for Tomb Raider 1-5, called "OpenTomb". I haven't tried it myself & there's still a *lot* of work left to do but it looks very impressive so far - definitely worth keeping an eye on. Find out more here: https://opentomb.github.io/

Install notes: Mostly install & play - just set Windows version to Win98 before playing or it'll crash instantly when you run it.
If using PlayOnLinux, run the game from/create shortcut for "tomb3.exe"
How well does it run: Perfect
Details: Played for a while, seems to work perfectly. Tested with virtual desktop enabled.

This can be configured ingame from the menus, however it's possible that you might want to use the config tool instead for some reason. To access it, run the game with the argument /setup (or in CrossOver just run the "Setup" shortcut) like for Tomb Raider 2.

Just like like with Tomb Raider 2 the game's main window will steal focus away from the configuration tool when you try to click anywhere on it (again, this does not happen with CrossOver) - in my testing there was no border to grab to move the window out of the way so I ended up using the keyboard to control it instead, but if you're not running the game with virtual desktop enabled then you might be able to alt+tab to the configuration tool window.

[snip]
There is a rather small problem, it's the same as with Tomb Raider 2. You need to set it up 1st before playing it, but gets covered by a black screen, what i did was basically make the system to concentrate on the Setup window and then move it to the next workstation

I am using Antergos 64-bit, with 4.7.5-1 Linux Kernel, 1.9.19-staging Wine via PlayOnLinux on a NVIDIA GeForce GT240M with 340.98-1 propietary driver.

Other than that, it works perfectly.

I did notice that, but it can be configured ingame.

Install notes: Install & play.
If using PlayOnLinux, run the game from/create shortcut for "Tomb Raider - The Last Revelation.lnk"
Warning: I found a bug in the current version of PlayOnLinux (4.2.10) that causes shortcuts to .lnk files to break. See here for information about how to fix them: https://www.gog.com/forum/general/the_try_linux_repostrewrite/post130
How well does it run: Mostly ok
Details: Runs well, but lighting is broken (it's still playable though). Tested with virtual desktop enabled.

Enable compatibility mode under sound options before playing to fix certain audio issues (e.g. missing speech)
If using PlayOnLinux, run the game from/create shortcut for "Launcher.exe"
How well does it run: Almost perfect
Details: Played for a while, runs great & there's no sign of any major problems - just some occasional flickering with menus and subtitles. Tested with virtual desktop enabled.

Just use regular Wine for this, as I encountered some audio issues (some speech was very quiet, almost inaudible) when using CrossOver and Wine Staging, even with compatibility mode set.
