Final surprise of the GOG 17th Anniversary!

From its haunting beginnings to a bold new era – SILENT HILL f is now available on GOG, alongside its Digital Deluxe Edition and Digital Deluxe Upgrade!

For decades, Silent Hill has stood as one of gaming’s most powerful explorations of fear, emotion, and the human psyche. Now, with SILENT HILL f, the series embraces a new generation while staying true to the heart that defined it. We’re proud to welcome this title to GOG, where it is DRM-free and yours to keep forever.

Check it out!

Please note that the Pink Rabbit Costume DLC and Bonus DLC (including the Artbook and OST) are currently available only through GOG GALAXY. We’re aware of the issue and are working on a fix to make them fully accessible offline in the coming days. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Nice to see this here. Won't touch it until it's fully DRM-free though.

Rafaru360: BAD REGIONAL PRICING
Konami selling this game even more expensive in Mexico (71.64$) Even tho we have lower minimal wages and earn less, thats almost asking for less sales, will have to give my money to steam for this game
Only thing that will tell Konami is that you are fine with DRM. Either way they still get your money.
Thats a really nice addition and ending to the event tbh, for those that are into this kind of game and can look past the involvement of Hit Detection and the high price ;o
That said it looks decent and im sure many will have great time with it, and ty devs for adding it to the store! :)
high rated
I am quite happy that a AAA game gets released here on GOG mere weeks after its general release. So thank you Konami! I hope that you keep it up.
Man, Konami will do anything besides give you those old ports of Silent Hills 2 and 3, huh? It's kind of impressive.

viperfdl: Good to know. And how about the older titles? Silent Hill 2 and 4 are also on gog.
Only story connection that is confirmed is presence of a plant native to the town of Silent Hill which was brought to the Japan. And this is more of an obscure easter egg.

Silent Hill 4 has a couple of story references to Silent Hill 2, but they are both self-contained stories. Only direct sequels are Origins > 1 > 3.

amok: GOOD LORD! They are using women in games now!

When this this horrible thing start. I do really hope this is the only game with a famle protagonist, if we let this continue, who knows, they might think they have the right to vote or something. STOP THIS FILTH NOW, THINK OF THE CHILDREN!!
no? Definitely not the first game to have women. Try playing a few older/other ones and you'll see plenty of them.

You are woefully behind the times, aren't you?. In the United States, women gained the right to vote with the ratification of the 19th Amendment to the Constitution on August 18, 1920. Women in the United Kingdom gained the right to vote in two stages: partial suffrage in 1918 and full equal suffrage in 1928.

Also, there's nothing perverted or "unclean?" about people having equal voting rights, to that end I believe everyone *should* have an opportunity in school before they become of voting age to, at least, learn the basics about their countries' political parties and the general voting process so they can make an informed decision and help their country prosper.

To be absolutely fair, they did lose the source code to SH 2&3 which is why the HD console ports are a sloppy mess built off older, incomplete builds, so unless they can find some talent to reverse engineer or rebuild them without it costing a lot, they're more likely going to just keep ignoring them.
I just love that negative reviews claiming the game is too expensive are lowering the game score - such useful and detailed reviews!

I like that there are new releases on GOG which are on par with other platforms, but I really dislike I will have to sell a kidney to fund better hardware for these releases.
Yeah, that's pretty awesome. It's kind of unthinkable that Konami would go from not being on the store at all so a near-day-and-date release for one of their heavy hitters. And it's another reminder that I need to hurry up and build a new computer.

So this is super cool. Is it what I expected from the grand finale of the anniversary event? Well... no. But it's still great. I do hope that some of the Konami releases that slipped through the cracks like Suikoden HD and eventually MGS Delta make the trip over. No reason not to at this point, right?
80 € !? LOL Pass !

Well one reason to wait for Delta is we need the second game back first at the very least
