Final surprise of the GOG 17th Anniversary!

From its haunting beginnings to a bold new era – SILENT HILL f is now available on GOG, alongside its Digital Deluxe Edition and Digital Deluxe Upgrade!

For decades, Silent Hill has stood as one of gaming’s most powerful explorations of fear, emotion, and the human psyche. Now, with SILENT HILL f, the series embraces a new generation while staying true to the heart that defined it. We’re proud to welcome this title to GOG, where it is DRM-free and yours to keep forever.

Check it out!

Please note that the Pink Rabbit Costume DLC and Bonus DLC (including the Artbook and OST) are currently available only through GOG GALAXY. We’re aware of the issue and are working on a fix to make them fully accessible offline in the coming days. We apologize for the inconvenience.

A very solid cancer remedy does not cost 70, it would cost 7 million. Medicine does not cost a bread with some butter, not even if a new president is trying to cut any price.

Silent Hill title. But....not Silent Hill.

Feels like china making copies of famous cities and towns. Before you ask, yes, it has happened.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Iohannis42: Most hills are naturally silent.

Swedrami: Some have eyes even.
And sometimes they are alive with the sound of music...

But mostly silent.

I hate to say I have mix feeling about the game. It's an ok action horror game, but it does not feel like a Silent Hill game. Looks more like someone wanted to do a Fatal Frame or Clock Tower spin off.

If GOG can get the Silent Hill franchise, they can surely get the Metal Gear Solid franchise here as well.

They can get everything if enough are going to pay for it. If on another platform 100 times more cash is being found, it indeed gets difficult.

Silent Hill as a franchise at least got a way above average demand on GOG, which is important for having a release here, when it comes to many franchises.

We already have 2 titles here. We even had a third one here (MGS2), but that was delisted because of licensing issues.

Yigdboz: Maybe finally do the same for the couple of items locked behind the "My Rewards" thing in Cyberpunk 2077 while you're at it?

I swear people are too hung on the town, speaking as a OG games fan, by SH3 I already had enough of it, like a "yeah, this is a nice closure, I think we can move on to other places"

And funnily enough, Team silent thought the same (and no, it was always intended as a SH title, not a new IP)

It is settled then. If a tree on a hill falls and there is no one to hear it, it does not make a sound unless the hill has eyes; if the hill is alive with the sound of music, the sound of the tree falling may not be heard over the sound, or it may provide the percussion section of the music.

AlexTerranova: One of the few AAA releases, that really got me interested. And the most impressive addition to GOG catalogue at the Anniversary event.

Japanese setting is quite appealing, thanks for including the voice-over. :)
The 1960s Japanese setting is very appealing to me as well. I also appreciate that the characters were modeled directly after their Japanese voice actors, and I appreciated the Japanese voices very much too.

Not sure if I'm more "Yay! Konami!" or "Boo! Seventy bucks!" here...

Wishlisted, but unless my income starts going up like prices have been I don't see myself ever paying that much for a game.

Godzilla could show up in the 1960s, but would he be friend or foe?

The secret is: A hill indeed is something pretty silent because the sonic waves are naturally going upward with a stronger force. So, even if a tree is falling down, it still would make less noise.
