Final surprise of the GOG 17th Anniversary!

From its haunting beginnings to a bold new era – SILENT HILL f is now available on GOG, alongside its Digital Deluxe Edition and Digital Deluxe Upgrade!

For decades, Silent Hill has stood as one of gaming’s most powerful explorations of fear, emotion, and the human psyche. Now, with SILENT HILL f, the series embraces a new generation while staying true to the heart that defined it. We’re proud to welcome this title to GOG, where it is DRM-free and yours to keep forever.

Check it out!

Please note that the Pink Rabbit Costume DLC and Bonus DLC (including the Artbook and OST) are currently available only through GOG GALAXY. We’re aware of the issue and are working on a fix to make them fully accessible offline in the coming days. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Nice!!!
Nice release !

Doc0075: £70? Wow!
Yeah. Not surprised. When they get those kinks worked out for the stuff listed, waiting for a sale might be best.

While I am happy to see it here and for the audience that enjoys this series, unless this is an opening Konami will use to make the Metal Gear/Solid games avaialble, I'll be buying other things.
Whoa! Nice catch, GOG! The only Silent Hill I wanted to play :) Thanks!

Doc0075: £70? Wow!
That has to be the worst exchange rate against the dollar yet! (It's also $70.)
Expedition 33 and now new Silent Hill! Thats great, I just hope great new games wont end with celebrations.
But anyway happy 17th anniversary GOG!
Only wish I have is to properly redeem Devotion fiasco. I think in current times its clear what consequences bending before authoritarian regimes can have.

Xeshra: Wrong maths... ~90 CHF are 84 GBP and 113 USD, for the Deluxe at least.
There was no maths involved; at least not on Doc's part. He just read the price as it appears on the page when viewing from a UK IP address: £69.99 for the standard edition and £79.99 for the deluxe.
Quite a surprising strong list of releases! Kudos GOG, well played.

Not GOG related, but tipping the waters for >80€ games = insta-wishlist at best + time to start clearing the backlog.

Dont think there is real urgency and/or need to get almost any game at release anyway plus, in my experience, most games arent even worth >50€ but thats just me.
GOG szaleje!!!! Tak trzymać!!!!

Me too.

I hope we can continue to see Konami games come to GOG. Thank you Konami, and thank you GOG.

JamesB26769: I dont think ive ever played a silent hill game, how good is the series? Where does this game place?
Most games (well, the Team Silent ones - i.e. SH1-4) takes place in Silent Hill, which basically is a take on Maine. Not all of them entirely take place there in full or even at all.

If you got an OG Playstation 1 - SH1 is great. I am not the biggest fan of tank controls and fixed-cam angles, but the story, presentation, and whatnot for its time was great.

All of the Old Team Silent Hills for me range from good (SH4: The Room) to great (SH1, 2, 3). SH2 and 3 are great too. SH2 (OG) is probably my favorite of the OG's.

I have yet to play SH2 Remake - but I definitely want to. Eventually and probably, when it's cheaper in a sale and/or I get a better GPU (my 3070 ain't always cutting it on UE5-based games these days).

Yigdboz: Maybe finally do the same for the couple of items locked behind the "My Rewards" thing in Cyberpunk 2077 while you're at it?

lostwolfe: not that i own cp2077.

but this.

for every game that has a galaxy exclusive, please.
I *would* become an owner if they were to make the game DRM-free like that.

I guess good to see this on GOG. But it's not he game for me. Amongst the dozens of other missing "recent-ish" big-publisher titles that I'd love to see. Those, I'd get at full price. This has no full-price appeal to me. Probably not even a 50% appeal, but we'll see when it gets there.

Sigh. I was hoping finally for another Sony release, or one of the beloved EA classics that isn't here. Or something. Oh well, enjoy you fans (I know there are plenty of you!)
