Problem solved - thanks to Frozen & kbnrylaec for the a/c refresh advice.

NovumZ: Thank you!

But; will it be called definitive edition once I do this and have few installers instead of several?

zlep: You'll still have multiple installers, but so will everyone else. Despite the name, the Definitive Edition is really more like a bundle. When you buy it, you get a separate installer for the base game, plus DLC installers for White March Pt 1, White March Pt 2 and Deadfire (plus lots of files for all the extras). There's no "combined" installer.
Well that was the one reason I was considering double dipping. Glad to know I don't have to bother. Thanks.

Cusith: Ha, I guess its how the Mode 7 guys determine the source, ah well the only real answer is to actually provide info on the serial page and given how responsive GOG is to modifying their site we might see that in a couple years or so.
I submitted a support ticket about my codes, and suggested they add a clear description what each code in "Serial Keys" is for to save us the confusion and themselves a few support tickets.

Ah I guess I am guilty of the complaining about something I haven't sent a support request for, on my side at least I didn't write my complaint up in a review on a game.
Good I own the lot anyway from kickstarter backing and as DLC purchases. As Zlep mentioned just wish there was a way to mark items as purchased so I don't have this "unowned" thing pop up every time we have a future sale etc.

GOG if you could just add a owned flag as user set you'd solve half the gripes people have. Seriously.
Hey GOG Team,

Any chance to see Definitive edition as bought in the GOG catalogue for us, please? Like you did with Witcher 3 - when we got GOTY if we owned base game + all DLC.

I got a rather terse reply stating that the codes appearing in "Serial Keys" is a bug, and the expected apology for the inconvenience. No comment on whether it's been forwarded to the web-devs and will be looked into, and no comment on my suggestion either.

Ah well the standard reply, who knows what moves the powers that be.

I wouldn't hold your breath I have numerous titles like that however GOGs back end is arranged its far from as straight forward as it might seem. I suspect the only reason that Witcher 3 is like it is is because they just added the GOTY to everyone that qualified, it is a separate shelf item. While for this and other games there are still other things to consider, the preorder item isn't included in the Definitive is it? and then there are the kickstarter items so they can't just replace one with the other.

Preorder items were included in White March Expansion pass long ago. So GOG could just give Definitive Edition as a separate item if you qualify by having both base game and white march 1&2.

Did somebody try to contact support about it? Sometimes GOG people are really responsive. Not always, but it happens :-)
