And how is it different from all the other RPG Maker stuff?
Fallen Makina and the City of Ruins is a must play... with the patch, of course ;-)
With Nayuta no Kiseki launching tomorrow, the timing of this sale is quite bad for my wallet.

Oh well, there's always next time.
Imperial Gatekeeper was a pretty fun little game.
Papers please lewd and lite basically.

What's with the one-line "Game X is good" posts? If you want to recommend one, at least say something about what's good about it. Assume anyone who's reading this thread has already read the store page for that game when it was released, and if they haven't bought or wishlisted it back then then just saying "+1" doesn't say much at all.

The only game i played from Kagura games was Dungeon town, some info in here:
https://www.gog.com/forum/general/games_finished_in_2022/post500

Even finished the final dungeon which unlocks all the hcg and the story still is something different which i can't spoil

SargonAelther: And how is it different from all the other RPG Maker stuff?
Not sure what're asking, it *is* an RPG Maker game and you shouldn't expect (gameplay wise) anything more than that, it just so happens to be amazing in every other way
Until recently it was sitting on a comfortable 100% positive reviews on steam
finally i can double my kagura games collection

I meant what's setting it apart from the other RPG maker games.

What is this "every other way" that makes it amazing? Please elaborate. Is the the story better? Are the mechanics somehow different from the others? Is it the smut somehow better?

On a surface level, they all look the same, with a slightly different art style in every one of them.

The story is not just better compared to other HRPGs (which would be setting the bar really low lol), it's genuinely well-written with fantastic worldbuilding and characters, despise the limitations the world is also really well done, and you can appreciate the small details everywhere, for example each continent/kingdom has a completely distinct setting

I found the combat reasonably fun, it doesn't get challenging until NG+ (unless you deliberately go underleveled) but the characters are really unique so it's fun to experiment with party compositions and whatnot

The smut is whatever really, 95% is optional and confined to two places

Great OST by Rance's composer shade too
I see. Thank you for the information.
