I have a hard time thinking of a town role that needs to know a particular player's name. What I can fathom is a 3rd party role with a specific target. Taking this a step further. Such a 3rd party role seems unlikely to have a scum target, thus making that role rather anti-Town neutral.

On this basis, I'm happy voting out an Anti-Town neutral 3rd party.

No frustration, just righteous indignation, I love it.

The former. But he has said exactly two things I don't understand, I've pointed them out and I hope he will at least address these.


I'm not against lynching meda or anyone, there's info to be had, no matter how slim. Two things I don't get. If she is scum, what exactly was the gameplan with going around proclaiming she's using powers on people and drawing attention to her on D1? Also, I don't understand some of the conclusions that people claim they will draw with a meda lynch.

Lift says it could verify me, RW is pointing to the previous game and the scum/town pairings.

In any case, some of this stuff will be better examined Tomorrow I guess.

What ambiguity? What are you talking about? It's right there in Post 1 in the rules! CAPITALIZED and directly from the mod. So what exactly do you find ambiguous about this statement?

meda says she has 100% confirmation that Quad/Darko is town. Meda flips town --> she was telling the truth about having confirmation that Quad/Darko is town. The reverse doesn't work, since you don't have 100% confirmation that meda is town. So your flip woulnd't clear meda. Therefore, IF we go the route of lynching one of the weird mason/not mason/scum/whatever couple, meda is the better choice.

But since you seem to be overwhelmed with the number of posts to read (understandable), I'll repeat my reply: No, I am not going to reveal my name. With what I already revealed in my discussions with oldwino and trent, stating my name would amount to a full claim. And you wouldn't want to push me to do a full claim on Day 1 now, would you? Or if you do, how does that fit with your stated dislike of claims on Day 1?

Capitalize all you want. Still not an answer. How is both meda and I being scum even a possibility with a day chat? If you're doubting the existence of a day chat, why haven't you asked for proof?

How would you prove that? And even if you have a Daychat, one of you could still be scum. That's the point several people here have already made. The fact that you have a Daychat doesn't clear you both as town! (https://wiki.mafiascum.net/index.php?title=Neighbor). And if you are both scum, you might as well be lying about having a Daychat. But let's assume you are town, for the moment. And you have, as you say, a Daychat with meda. However you are not Masons - i.e. the mod didn't tell you outright 'Meda is town'. ... If that is the case, it means that meda lied and you should be quite wary of her. Especially since the 'Neigborhoods' in the last game (between the two pairs of sisters) each were mixed town/scum. - Of course there is no guarantee that it is the same in this game. But all in all meda with her several statements which she 'corrected' repeatedly, after having been proven false, looks very bad. So why exactly are you relatively certain that she is town?

As for powers on day one - why not try to get an ally as quick as possible that is town and attempt to get herself confirmed town in a way.

I posted something in the quicktopic that meda can share if she shows up again. Why would you not ask for proof of the daychat at some point during the whole week that you have been waiting for Quadralien?
If you believe that it's possible that we can both be scum, how would you clear me with a meda flip?

I see exactly what people think will be cleared up with a meda lynch. As Lift pointed out her lynch would clear you if she flips town. If she flips scum or neutral though it does nothing except put you in a bad light when you could just be an innocent townie, and the only way to clear that up would be to lynch you. So a meda lynch to me does not make sense right now because we don't gain the right information except if she's town, and that's a poor lynch. But, I also have trouble really believing she would put herself under this much of a spotlight as scum or neutral, so I'm going to go with that she's town and that makes you town. I just wish she had done better with the reveal and answering of questions.

Ok. AGAIN. Perhaps you'll read it this time: if meda flips town, I'll assume that she was telling the truth about having 100% proof that you are town too. How is that so hard to understand??? So far her claim that you are 100% proven town doesn't mean anything because she could be lying scum.
