It’s the final countdown!

The grand GOG.com 2015 DRM-free Summer Sale Finale is finally here! 40+ bundles and 700+ game deals up to 90% off are back to tempt you one final time. They are joined by the DRM-free premiere of Tales from the Borderlands for an absolutely perfect weekend of gaming appreciation and excessive shopping.

All the best deals return!

It’s insane, it’s hectic, it’s absolutely awesome! Starting now, every single deal, discount and markdown returns for one final countdown.

Missed The Walking Dead Series when it was 75% off? It’s back, just for you.

Can’t get over the fact that you and that discount on Kerbal Space Program are never, ever getting back together? Now you can, fates be damned.

Couldn’t pick between Shadowrun: Dragonfall - Director’s Cut and Legend of Grimrock 2? It’s your last chance, go for both! And toss Jade Empire on top of that pile of gaming goodness, you deserve it.

Unlocked your free games yet?

This is your final chance to unlock up to three games for free - when you spend money to get games, you get even more games.

-- If you have spent at least $1, you have unlocked SimCity 2000;
-- Buy stuff for $20 or more to get S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky;
-- Cross the $50 threshold for Xenonauts, absolutely free.

If you have already crossed these lines, there’s no stopping you from getting absolutely everything - may the guardian spirits of gaming have you in their care.

You have time to get in on the shopping frenzy before these offers expire on Sunday, June 21st, at 11:59am GMT (check this WolframAlpha conversion to know when that happens in your time zone).

-I missed the 50% off of most of the store and I would have bought more had that been the case. That's the only reason I own, for example, about 3/4 of the movies.
-Many missed the D&D bundle. (It was probably my first bundle purchase here.) This is the first big sale I have seen without it. Hopefully it can return some day.

Of all the major sales I have been a part of since early 2014, this was the least appealing by quite a stretch. Can't wait for a quiet week! Hopefully it will be way more lively around here than this past week!

Nevertheless, thank you GOG for the discounts and for the hard work that went into the sale. I hope the loot favored you.
I'm ambivalent about this sale. On one hand I did spend $100 and save $250 on it but on the other hand it lacked the atmosphere of sales like Insomnia.

Thanks for the great savings and the free games GOG.

Thank you, GOG, for really nice sale :)

Haven´t bought much myself, though the games, which appeared here during sale, are phenomenal :)

Thanks for the great sale, GOG! You really tempted us all, your soul is clearly evil. I wish I could have bought more but this is not the best time for shopping unfortunately. Thanks for all the discounts and for making us happy.
Well, I didn't buy nearly as much this sale as I usually do for myself. But I did, of course, grab some gift codes and still ended up spending more than $50. Well done, GOG, considering I was determined not to add to my backlog or to spend any money at all on this sale.
quick guys this is your last chance for THE KEANE EXPERIENCE during this sale
It's a shame that Original Sin won't be returning, but thanks for a great sale! It's great to see how massive this sale is with so many games being offered. It's really a testament to how much the site has grown and how more and more developers and publishers are jumping on board with DRM-free gaming. I spent far more than I had planned to (let's just say that the number of games I DON'T own on GOG is significantly smaller than the number of games I do), but I've got years of DRM-free gaming goodness to look forward to.

haydenaurion: Any opinions on the difficulty of Heroes of Might & Magic 4? I thought of getting it, but some of the youtube walkthroughs I watched of it made it seem way too easy. I even watched videos from a guy who used the Equilibris mod and played on the hardest difficulty on the Undead campaign or something it was called and he was walking all over the game like it was nothing. Does the game get difficult at all or should I just avoid it?
The difficulty spectrum of HoMM games is all over the place. Usually starts easy enough, and ends up unforgiving beyond my competences. I wouldn't judge the difficulty on a video without knowing what part of the game it is.

But I'd say that it's a safe bet to assume there will be a difficulty level that matches your preference, somewhere in the campaign...
My backlog is positively thriving. I won't say how much I spent, but I did break $50. It shouldn't make me feel better, but my average $ spent per GOG game is now $2.27.

Also waiting for a Star Trek sale. I was thrilled to see them arrive, but history tells me to hold off and they'll be at least 20% off at some point. Maybe next year, when it's the 25th anniversary of ST: 25th Anniversary.
After looking through today's offers i think i'm done with GOG's summer sale. Gotta leave some games on my wishlist for the x-mas sale. :D

I spent 13.42€ so this was my cheapest GOG summer sale ever.
no sale on nwn packs? what a letdown

That's a good way of putting it. I just wish I could give away Battle Realms as I know I'll never play it. Maybe at least message Support about that. :P

It was a good sale overall, with some of the highest discount Gog has ever done. However, I only put like $5 on it because:

- I don't like the way you do bundles, i.e. losing discount % if you deselect even one item. Most other sites put games on a substantial discount and, if they're bundled, they may or may not have a small extra discount on top of it. It's an incentive. The price difference doesn't make you feel punished for not buying the whole package.

-More importantly, the whole site is falling apart and there's no sign of improvement on the horizon. On the contrary, things are getting worse with every new site update and the worst thing is, you just don't seem to care.
Gog has launched almost 8 years ago and it's STILL missing core functionalities such as a proper changelog feature, which the community, thankfully, is taking care of on your behalf for free. Meanwhile, you managed to break even more things with the last major site overhaul, which was pushed only to release a buggy client barely in beta state with half-assed social features.

I like Gog but I am not going to support it anymore if this keeps up. I get that you want to expand, but if by doing so you're making the life harder for ALL your customers, you're doing it wrong. Get your act together please.

solomonhume: Divinity: Original Sin does not return!
It was sold at 33% discount a few days earlier, but now at full price.

zlep: Yeah, it's not really "every single deal, discount and markdown" returning. It must have sounded better than "almost every"...

I've had Divinity: Original Sin for ages, but I'm sorry for those who missed out on the discount. The game is fantastic; a lovely meld of old-school and innovation. On the good side, if Larian are limiting its discount opportunities, then presumably the game is still selling well at full price, and I'm pleased to hear that. It's nice when quality is rewarded.
Agreed, and if you played the first divinity, you'll see how amazing it is that they went back to what made the divinity saga so addictive! It's almost as if you're playing the first with better graphics, yet the original still looks great even by today's standards!
Thanks for the draft in my wallet! xD

I would do it all over again, though. :)

Many happy returns! ;D
