Probably one of the best World War 2 games ever made. It would be good to have this for sale without having to download stuff to get it to work. I loved the weapon mechanics.

I remember as kid going to a local electronics shop, they had this big wire container where PS3 games were just thrown inside in a chaoctic way on top of each ocher and you had to dig through to find something. One day I pulled out a game called "Crysis 2", sounded interesting so I bought it, just don't have words to describe the feelings as kid watching that cinematic intro of the nanosuit with Hans Zimmer soundtrack and the gameplay, story and graphics.... I want this game to live forever
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight

My first LEGO game was Lego Star Wars: The Video Game (2005). It's crazy to see how each LEGO game has evolved over time with the many IPs the team has touched. TT Games going back to it's earlier LEGO roots with Batman again is quite something. Introducing the arkham-esque combat to fit the legacy of Batman media was an interesting design decision to go with but I hope it works out in the end. Being able to traverse around the city using the batclaw to grapple while playing as LEGO minifigures will be super fun now. I hope WB Games (publisher) is willing to bring the rest of the LEGO games over to GOG as this is no exception. I also share @BigFitzPlays sentiments greatly.

No Denuvo pls. I mostly play all non-shooter games on SteamDeck nowadays, which is quite protable for what it is, which means using it at places without Internet access is not gonna be too rare - imagine DRM kicking in at such moments >:(

That game carried my childhood. And it just felt magical, you never knew what you got and it was always an surprise. The build up of the city gave you an consistent feeling of progress, so it was never the same. You always find something new, but I never was able to see everything, since the German version had an bug that blocked an area.
Prey

I don't remember it so clearly anymore, but I either have read about this jem or my best friend told me about it first. I was impressed by it and whem I finally got to play it I was blown away. At the time it felt groundbreaking. Later when I wanted to replay it I found out there aren't many ways to buy it. I was lucky enough to smatch the last physical copy from a somewhat forgotten store for quite cheap. It even redeemed on Steam. This is the true Prey, not the one Bethesda made (which is not a bad game though).

Such a great series, I'm hard pressed to pick a favorite. Looking forward to a remake of the game that started it all. I hope this one gets a GOG release so it matches with the rest of the series.

Sam & Max: The Devil's Playhouse
user avatar@Sanct Nimmerlein
Been holding off on buying the remaster ever since it came out on Steam, and I'm not giving up hope for it to ever arrive on GOG as well. As many others have said, The Devil's Playhouse is among Telltale's best games, and certainly the best of their Sam & Max trilogy, which remains painfully unfinished on here.
Devotion

Red Candle games delivered two games that I liked very much on Steam, Detention and 9 Sols. Both are interesting takes on their genre, and I am sure anyone making political assumptions on Red Candle studio definitely did not play Detention (or purposefuly completely ignored the game's story). I do not understand why Devotion is still not available to purchase on GoG (or anywhere else besides developer's website, for what it matters), given the current record of quality for Red Candle's games.
The Last Sovereign
The Last Sovereign
user avatar@Desertopa
This game was the first project I ever supported on Patreon, going back about eight years ago now. For years, I wouldn't support any other creators on Patreon, because it felt like I'd be putting them on the same level as the developer of The Last Sovereign, too high a bar for anyone else to reach. This is an adult game, but more than that, it's a *grown up* game, one that has the sort of maturity and wit that I hoped RPGs would develop as I grew up with the genre. It's a truly rare game, and one that I think any fan of intelligently-written RPGs ought to check out.

A very good story and amazing visuals. The dev is an awesome person who deserves all the support possible. He is very engaged with the community and transparent in everything he does. One of the best lesbian VNs available.
Anthem

user avatar@PinkyDude
Despite being a fan of Bioware's games, I never played Anthem; the live-service aspect killed any of the hype I had for it. The game looks amazing, gameplay seems fun and I heard a lot of good things about the universe and characters from a friend who played. Forcing a studio like Bioware to go full live service is such a shame; and now Anthem is about to disappear entierly, as EA aim to pull the plug on its server. We need protection against these greedy practices, we need initiatives like Stop Killing Games more than ever, and I believe GOG also plays a huge part with the preservation project and dreamlist!

I have played the demo for the game: - Cinematics: Great Graphics and Voiceover acting - Gameplay: reminds me of Plague Tale, puzzles, stealth, gameplay style, (potential basic combat/confrontation) - Story: Feels interesting and engaging - Theme: isometric environment, feels nice and cozy "Why do you want this game on GOG?" I was planning to buy the game in other platform, but I prefer GOG DRM-Free, it's the most safe secure purchase for gamers

I ended up here by looking up what other music Lena Raine of Minecraft fame had made. It sounded very good. Then I looked it up on youtube. There, I found a game that is not only good looking and interesting to play, but it also tells a good story. I am going to buy this,, and I hope to do that on GOG.

user avatar@Geraldine
I have just watched a gameplay video of this game, it can be found on You Tube with a video called: "Sabotain: The weird Deus Ex clone". Yes, it is a bit janky and needs some fixes, but this certainly has a Deus Ex feel about it. I hope GOG will consider adding it, as we need more immersive sims like this.

This visual novel doing things what's rare from visual novels in general, especially rare in a VN with controversial topics, like long and interesting story, every line voiced with professional VA. Have addictive and extremely detailed RPG and "talent" management part. No wonder why people calling Alicesoft the "square soft of eroges" in alicesoft games like Rance and this the gameplay is always first, the eroge part is just a part of that.

I spent way too much time in the ship builder as a kid and just running some of my stupid creations through the early missions. To this day, nothing else has managed to capture the same magic combination of engaging arcade-y combat and excellent ship design. Add in the insanity of some late-tech-tree weapons, and you have one of the best games I've ever played. That it has never been available on PC is truly a shame and I would love to dive back in.

Mafia: The Old Country
Mafia: The Old Country
user avatar@D76Zer0
The first x2 Mafia games really blew me away with their storylines & characters being top notch. I played them quite late- the remasterd versions, but the game-mechanics still stood up well. I've heard that The Old Country is a return to the format that worked so well [Mafia 3 was more open-worldy, which I dig BUT the cinematic, story/character-driven is where the earlier Mafia games really shined]. I can't wait to play it & GOG is the only way I'll p[l]ay.
Dead or Alive 4
Dead or Alive 4
user avatar@MITSUO_1988
Dead or Alive 4 is pound for pound the uncontested peak of the series. It's Itagaki-Sensei at the height of his powers and back when it was released, it was almost like looking into the future! From its memorable and wild stages (the Mugen Tenshin bridge and the Crash Club being clear standouts), solid music, finely tuned mechanics, impressive visuals, a legit challenging story-mode that's both compelling and frustrating in equal measure (thanks Alpha-152... -_-') and an online mode that many fighting games are still trying to catch up to a whole two decades after its release, DOA4 feels like Team Ninja's creative peak following Ninja Gaiden Black. And that's not counting Aerosmith's 'Amazing' playing at the end credits, an ending that got out emotions I never knew I had. This game was on top of the world back in the day and I feel it deserves to be preserved. It has hardly dated and an updated PC port with improved online play would be perfect. This game deserves it's long overdue comeback.

When release do the uncensored Version. Way better to realism! The game is great as CQB. Realistic banger and weapon and armory unlocked. Heard there's PvP soon.

Freelancer
FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.

Escape from Monkey Island™
Escape from Monkey Island™
Spitting the sand of Monkey Island from my mouth, I wondered if the life of a mighty pirate was all it was cracked up to be. I'd ignored recent events that should have been warning shots across the bow of my soul, from my wife's brush with death to the anti-pirate ramblings of an Australian gazillionaire. If only I'd chosen a different path, LeChuck might still be dead and the Ultimate Insult might have remained a mystery. If I'd never picked up a sword, the grog-swilling pirates of the Tri-Island Area might be unthreatened by the forces of gentrification and demonic heckfire. If only... suddenly, the hairy finger of a familiar monkey tapped me on the shoulder. It was time. Time for the biggest battle of my swashbuckling life.- Excerpted from "The Memoirs of Guybrush Threepwood: The Monkey Island Years"Fourth in the legendary Monkey Island series of graphic adventures! An original, cinematic story full of drama, sociopathic parrots, and a villain with a sinister agenda!Dozens of lusciously rendered backgrounds!Hundreds of puzzles to challenge both novice and veteran pirates... er, adventurers!New jokes! New puns! New insults! And more monkeys than the three previous Monkey games combined!Votes: 7264
Overlord II
Overlord II
Overlord II, sequel to the critically acclaimed cult hit, sees the return of the chaotic Minions and their new Dark Master. Bigger, badder and more beautifully destructive, Overlord 2 has a Glorious Empire to smash, a massive Netherworld to revive, Minion mounts to mobilize, a trio of mistresses to woo, War Machines to crush opposition and lots of cute creatures to, err... murder (and a mini-map).What sort of stuff will I get to kill? Your main source of victims will come from the brave and highly flammable ranks of the Glorious Empire, a sinister regime that gained power after the fall of the previous Overlord. You'll be hacking your way through entire battalions at a time, but to keep the blood on your sword varied we've also thrown a few Yetis, Elves, villagers and annoyingly cute indigenous species into the mix, just to name but a few. Don't say we never do anything for you.I've always wanted to enslave the human race, is this the game for me? You've come to the right place! With the Domination style Overlord humanity, can become your plaything. Village by village, you'll reap the benefits of an unwilling workforce as you drive the Glorious Empire from your lands.I'm more of a "watch the world burn" kind of guy, can I still get my rocks off? We've got your pleasure, sir. With the Destruction style Overlord you can ravage the land like a moody Tsunami; razing cities, forests and Imperial camps to the ground just because they looked at you funny. What can my minions do? Minions are angry little Swiss army knives of pain: They can ride into battle on wolves and other magical creatures, loot the best weapons from stomped enemies, pillage houses for treasure, operate fearsome war machines, infiltrate enemy camps and polish your armour so thoroughly you'll blind passing wildlife. What types of Minions can I rule? This new batch of minions is smarter, faster, deadlier and wittier than the sorry sacks of skin you used to rule. Minions now come in four fantastic flavours: Browns are brutal brawlers that solve their problems with teeth and fists. Reds are the surly artillery who love to play catch, as long as it's with fireballs. Greens are the stealthy assassins. Silent and deadly, like a fart on legs. Blues are no use in a fight but can resurrect fellow Minions who've tried to stop a sword with their face.Votes: 908

Frequently Asked Questions
Learn more about GOG Dream list with our FAQ
What is GOG Dreamlist?
GOG Dreamlist is a community-based tool anyone can use to vote for the games they want to see revived or added to our platform. These votes help GOG demonstrate community interest to IP owners and bring these games to life on our platform.
How does voting work?
Find a game on the list and click the arrow button to cast your vote. You can do so directly from the main page or a game's card. Every vote helps shape our platform and supports game preservation, so make it count!
How do I add a game to the Dreamlist?
If you cannot find a game already on the list please use this form to add it to the list for everyone to vote.
Can I vote for more than one game?
Yes, you can vote for multiple games, but only once per game.
Why should I vote?
Each vote shows community interest and signals to IP owners that releasing their game on GOG is a valuable opportunity.
How can I learn about the status of the game on the Dreamlist?
Currently, we can’t disclose the business status of a game before its release due to the complexity of the process and the potential negative impact this could have on our efforts. However, we’re working on a feature that will let you track the games you’ve voted for once they’re released.
Does high number of votes for a game mean that it will be released sooner?
A high number of votes shows strong interest, which influences both GOG and IP owners. However, we can’t guarantee that every highly-voted game will be released.
How does my vote help to preserve games?
All games on GOG are DRM-free, so you can download and back them up for future use. Additionally, we aim to include as many games as possible in the GOG Preservation Program, ensuring classic titles remain playable on modern systems.
What happens with Stories once the game is released on GOG?
We’re working on a solution to migrate Stories to GOG.COM game cards once the game is released: we won’t let them get lost.
