The rest of the Trails games are already here on GOG, no reason not to have this one here as well! I've got my entire Trails collection on gog and I will only purchase this game day 1 if it's here on GOG. And after playing the demo on Steam, it's really good, Falcom did damn good with this one, it simply NEEDS to be on GOG.
The Trails in the Sky remake looks incredible and extremely faithful to the original. I may be a new fan, but I’d love to play it and see how it compares to the original. Unfortunately, there has been no news regarding a GOG release. Every single Trails game is already on GOG. Both Daybreak 2 and Ys vs. Trails in the Sky will also be coming to GOG. Please maintain this tradition by releasing "Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter" on GOG too! I would gladly buy the highest edition on GOG day one!
Tokyo Xanadu Ex+ Publisher : Aksys Games Gurumin: A Monstrous Adventure Publisher : Mastiff Zwei, Xanadu Next, Old Ys games, Trails in the sky (2004) - Cold Steel 2 Publisher : XSEED Games Ys VIII - Ys X, Cold Steel III - Daybreak 2 Publisher : NIS America Ys vs. Trails in the Sky: Alternative Saga Publisher : refint/games ALL, yes all Falcom game Available on GOG, why only this one has left out? I got into the Trails series while looking for a franchise that had all of its entries DRM free. Now I have all games (released so far) on my GOG library and I even got into other Falcom games like Ys. This has to release on GOG.
Every Falcom game with a PC port since 2012 has been released on GoG, most day and date with the Steam release. It's a bad look for GungHo to be the first publisher (out of SIX) in almost a decade and a half to break that streak. Falcom has it's roots in PC game development and publishing, and their games being available on a DRM-free storefront like GoG's is an important part of honoring that legacy. Falcom themselves even have the games from back when they made their own Windows ports for sale on DLsite, in itch.io-esque DRM-free digital goods storefront.

I really hope the game realeses on GoG. I've got my entire Kiseki/Ys collection on the platform and I wil buy it day one if it's here. Also the games are DRM free so...
STOP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If you're reading this go to @GungHo_America on Twitter, find a post about Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter, and demand it be brought to GOG in the comments. Together we can do it! Let's go guys!
Years ago, while looking on GOG for some good JRPGs (my favorite genre), there were (and still are!) not many to be found and I came to the realization that Japanese developers and publishers don't like the PC platform in general and are so obsessed about "protecting" their game (against piracy, modders...) that the situation was unlikely to improve, and it sure didn't that much. The only exception to that sad situation is, up to now, Nihon Falcom. No matter who is publishing them, all their games have been made available on GOG, and those past few years all of them on Day 1. I've been vocal on the forum towards NISA and their terrible pricing but at least they had the decency to keep the tradition alive and keep releasing Falcom games here. I had a lot of great times these past 5 years playing the Trails series, the Ys series and Tokyo Xanadu. Sure, Falcom games are not perfect, far from it actually, they are not masterpieces despite hardcore fans trying to convince the world otherwise but I would say they have a lot of charm, are fun to play and I'm looking forward to continue exploring future Falcom games. Unfortunately, it appears that Falcom decided to switch to a new publisher (GungHo) for "Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter Remake", a publisher that doesn't seem to be willing to release any of their games on GOG. I hope GOG will manage to work their magic and convince this publisher to release here at least whichever Falcom games they have already licensed or will license in the future, but if not and Falcom keeps licensing their games to GungHo, I guess it'll be time for me to part ways with those franchises. I'm looking forward to the release of "The Legend of Heroes: Trails beyond the Horizon" by NISA later this year and really hope it won't be my last Falcom games. Love to you all Trails, Ys and Falcom fans on GOG.

Please bring the entire series to GOG! I have every other Trails game in my GOG library (and many other Falcom titles, too) and it'd be great to complete the collection in one place.
From what I read, PH3 Games doesn't do the port. Not sure if the original people from Xseed and NISA are involved in translation too. And of course it's only listed on Steam. I'm not sure what to expect in terms of translation and PC port quality. Hey, at least both Falcom and I will save some money. It's really unfortunate, this is the only upcoming game I'm excited about.
Those games also need your vote!

Freelancer
FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.

Black & White 2
Black & White 2In the game, the player takes the role of a god called from the void (nothingness) to help those who invoked them. However, the player is not an omnipotent style god, but rather a god who rises and falls with his believers and the player must help develop their nature according to their good or evil desires. The player also has a creature, their physical representation in the world, which takes the form of an anthropomorphic ape, lion, wolf, turtle, cow, or tiger. Its physical manifestation can grow to an immense size, and adopt a good or evil persona separate of the player's. They develop their character as the player rewards or punishes their actions. In addition to the god simulation and city-building elements introduced in the original Black & White, Black & White 2 also features elements of real-time strategy gameplay, with the addition of controllable warfare and fighting units.
