I hate denuvo, is not about the money, but denuvo makes in some cases the games problematic with performance. The new nintendo and sega sucks. But i love the art style of this game it looks gorgeous.
Many childhood memories with this game, pioneers along with Ninja Gaiden, I played it with my lifelong friend 35 or 40 years ago, this hand-painted remake has been a great success, it would have been a big mistake if they did it completely in 3D as happened with the classic Prince of Persia.
I just want to play this game offline without denuvo. Won't purchase until either denuvo is removed or it's on GoG. Please don't be scummy, Sega, this is just a ridiculous move on your part.
No Denuvo pls. I mostly play all non-shooter games on SteamDeck nowadays, which is quite protable for what it is, which means using it at places without Internet access is not gonna be too rare - imagine DRM kicking in at such moments >:(

I have been a Shinobi fan since the original released in the arcades back in the mid-1980s. I buy every game that they release in this series. I play through them, and they have massive replayability. Also, I am a fan of one of the composers, Yuzo Koshiro.

Shinobi III on Megadrive is one of my all-time favourite game. This is really the perfection incarnate. Music, level-design, abilities, atmosphere... It remains on of my most fabulous memories even if I played it first 3 decades ago. Absolutely amazing ! I hope the remake will be as good if not better !! Enjoy !!!
I watched the demo video online and it's very engaging in every way. With tons of action, gorgeous hand-drawn imagery, and a soundtrack that blends highly with the atmosphere of the scenes, I can feel that all the developers have put a lot of effort into this. I wouldn't hesitate to buy it if it hits GOG, I personally think it's well worth it.
Having grown up playing with the OG arcade Shinobi and owning it on my Sega Master System, then on the Sega Genesis, then experimenting new grounds with 3D perspective on PS2. All good for Trying that, but I'm glad they came back to their origins -2D 😁 and it looks mindblowingly Beautiful 😍
Just played the demo of this game, and its amazing...I already pre-ordered my physical copy on LRG, but would like to have the Digital version, DRM free of course.. I've only played Shinobi III on Sega Genesis years back when it came out, and thought it was so cool until my mom took it away because of the ONI, looking to evil :( but now I am excited to play this game as I love Ninja's and this genre of Action.. look forward to more of The YEAR of the NINJA this Year!
I loved playing Revenge of Shinobi on the Genesis / Mega Drive. I tried the demo and very much like the game, but I do not want to support games that have an intrusive DRM like Denuvo.
