She looks much better in the released screenshot. It's the lightning making her look ugly in the video. You can make anyone look like that if you place a light source directly above them. There's a Seinfeld episode about it.

That was a great Seinfeld episode. And she doesn't look as amazingly awful in the screenshot you posted above, I'll give you that. So I guess it's more a case of these guys possibly rushing through the editing process for their promo videos... Which sort of matches up with some of their earlier efforts (personally I didn't hate any of the earlier promos, but I know some people thought they looked pretty crap).

Hopefully all stuff that will get fixed before release.

The bits of Twitter I spied seemed like the chick in question is heavily implying she was "abused" or something. If that is true then Avellone's a douche - but also if that were true, she should be doing this through the justice system and not venting about it on Twitter.

He probably just got with her and then never called her or something? OK so she was totally wasted at the time - in which case he's a creepy AF douche for taking advantage of her. However she's not entirely blameless in this either from the sounds of things, and is blowing this out of proportion.

More importantly, moronic companies are going to remove his work from their games, potentially making those games crappier. So this selfish cow has potentially screwed over millions of gamers (or rather, the moronic games companies did. I don't recall that particular line, but it wouldn't surprise me if it's in there. I often play a Malk, so I usually take the option to freak her out with my Malkavian insight, which probably precludes those other responses (that, and the Malkavian version of that question, if a Malkavian version of it even exists, would be worded differently).

Yeah, VV Never been a fan of hers - just rubs me the wrong way. I think you can get into her head and still get her two tasks - she just makes he terrible reward more terrible. :) All the choices save one were rather funny as I recall: one pertaining to then President Bush, the one I mentioned, and I think the third referred to game companies.

Yeah I always end up doing both her tasks for that sweet XP, but often insult her just enough for her not to give me the extra reward. So I miss out on the two crappy poems she sends later on...

She does kind of annoy me a bit as well - like those hot chicks who pretend to be really concerned for homeless people but in reality don't give a crap and just put on the act so people don't realise they're actually total bitches. VV doesn't ever seem to come out as a total bitch and always seems really emotional, but it still seems really fake which is probably even more annoying.

IMO another example of a well-done character in this great game. There aren't many games where many years later I recall not just snippets of conversation, but actual attitudes of the character, or attitudes I had towards them - especially when my attitude towards them is something other than utter contempt due to how bland, boring and/or stupid they are (unfortunately most NPCs fall into that category).

Looks like GOG does not allow developers to moderate forums, and that's the only reason why people can discuss political matters here freely.

I was absolutely baffled by many dozens of closed threads and banned users on Bloodlines steam forum. Very rarely you can see steam forum moderated so damn strictly. Just take a look at Fallout4 forum for example, you literally need to spam swearing to get banned. While on Bloodlines steam forum not agreeing with developers decisions and/or world-view is more than enough for a punishment and thread lockdown.

I don't usually come to this forums to participate in flame wars and other drama, but seriously, your comment disgust me so much that I can't even compare it to any other revolting thing I can think of.

True but, was it without consent? She can't remember because she drank too much free alcohol. he bought it but it is still her responsibility as she drank them willingly. Many a time a person, usually a woman, will insist thst there is no way she would have consented but witnesses (none, this time, I think, though) say otherwise. Drunkenness lowers inhibitions. Now, if he wasn't as drunk and was taking advantage of her that's a mitigating circumstance. It's why these things need to go to court - you just can't believe either party. Nobody should be fired on allegations.
