Plus, you do not understand. If the profits were going to the actual creator, Troika, then I would not complain. the game is great and the company would fully deserve the profit. However, the company got bankrupt just because Bloodlines was unfinished and did not sell well initially. The current price is a result of VtM: Bloodlines 2 announcement made by company UNRELATED to the original creators and clearly not competent to make a follow-up, inserting all of that ideological bs and probably not able to finish the product either. Those people are making profit on Troika's work, which they in no way deserve, cashing in even more thatn they would otherwise do after thr price spike on what was done right and corrupting the franchise at the same time.

Good news (partially): our beloved Chris Avellone has his name cleared in the lawsuit, and the liars are forced to retract all their wild accusations about him.

What's not good is that the vile and ungrounded lies about him by the accusers or by the media were unpunished in the end. The insumountable damage to his reputation and professional standing probably will never be repaired.
