adrieux: Hi BKGaming

You can already put a link to the Galaxy 2.0 forum.

* Go on the Shop
* From Shop page, click on community
* Choose the appropriate forum
* Save bookmark

Same for the "search game" page on GOG Shop
Yes I am aware of this... but for new users it's less complicated if GOG actually listed common store links under the store header on the left hand side. Way less work involved for the end user, which should be the goal of any software.
am i allowed to show people the ui?
got invitation today :) connected my platforms and all seems to be working. Only my friends were not imported but I get that this just a beta. All looks beautifuly made and all my games r in one place:) happy with that. Just one more thing are games from steam gonna be installed in the gog folder or steam folder?
i received invitation mail but when i install i've got an error cannot connect to GOG.com, check your connexion :/

got my invitation, installed it, but then I just got the info I'm not invited
Okay, this will sound like a dumb question. But will this run on Win7 or is this seriously just for Win8 and 10?
Installed.
Started application.
Error message attached as screenshot.
appeared about 10 seconds after application launch and login.

hello
will you integrate gog connect?
and will you add
blizard batle.net example starcraft ii
starwars old republic online www swtor.com
star trek online arc games
to integration options?
Just got the invitation. Tried to connect Steam; I enter correct password, then the Steam code I'm getting on email, but it shows "Offline, Retry". When I click "Retry", nothing changes, still "Offline". Even when I start the Steam client, Galaxy still shows "Offline".
I received the email inviting me into the beta. Clicked on the link in the email. Downloaded and installed it. I go to sign in and it tells me I haven't been invited to the beta...

I've double checked and made sure it's the same account that received the email so I'm not sure what the problem is.
Very nice BETA!

Just a few things I noticed:
1) The installer itself seems a bit outdated, it looks like the one you found on Windows 95.
2) I have a couple of "Unknown game" titles, no name, no picture.When I click on it, it shows the actual title but still no icons and/or background image of the selected game. GOG titles BTW...
3) I am still missing an "owned on <platform>" hint in the shop. Accidentally purchasing a title already owned somewhere else is still possible... (apparently I own 1243 games!)
4) There is currently no way to order the list by purchase date/time. A great addition would be to a "mixed sorting" mode, where you get to see games purchased within [1yr/6mo/3mo/1mo] by time of purchase, and the rest by [name/genre/...]

That's it so far. Great work!
Received my invite email in yesterday evening's emails. Installed Gog Galaxy 2.0 beta this morning.

After install of the client, the automatic search in the client, fails to find some GOG games that have been purchased and installed. After that, using the 'Scan folders for GOG Games' function and directing it to the folder where GOG games are installed to, also fails to find the installed games. Even pointing the 2.0 client at the individual games folders fails to find the installed games. I'll have to manually check each game, and add the .EXE files for the missing ones.

Hopefully, there will be a complete, stand-alone, installer download made available, preferably while the 2.0 client is still in beta. Webstub installers are good, only if you're not installing on multiple systems.

There's no simple option in the installer to tell it: Do not overwrite GOG Galaxy 1.2
The current default install system for 2.0, is: overwrite 1.2 with the install of 2.0. For beta testing bug hunting, such a default install method should NEVER be allowed to happen.

For all owned GOG games, there's no downloads menu, and no Goodies list. Have to still use web browser to access them.

Games display, no ability to group by anything. There's some sorting options, and display only certain tags options, but no grouping options.

Games you've hidden in the 1.2 client, show up in your stats page in 2.0, with the Hidden checkbox, unticked by default.

edit 1:
I cannot see any access to the GOG forums in the 2.0 client. The 1.2 client was essentially the website wrapped up as a program, and that included access to these forums.

edit 2:
Managed to find the Grouping options.

can\t download from Crimea/Krym (can\t connect to download server)

edi1:

looks like working fine via proxy, installing...

edit2:

ui looks very nice and convenient (game filters can be extended by configurable custom filters).
overall performance looks much better (but i can't do deep test with installed content right now, will do it later).
also looks like new version are less memory hungry (again without any content installed)

i am upset (again) because of lack of linux version (why?) looks like galaxy coded using qt (crossplatform), poco(crossplatform), libcef(embedded chromium, crossplatform also), am i missed something ?
