Kanashe: Okay, this will sound like a dumb question. But will this run on Win7 or is this seriously just for Win8 and 10?
Windows 7 is not supported. So, there are no guarantees that it will work, and GoG won't put any effort into making it work if there are problems. However, IIRC, some folks have tried it on Windows 7, and it worked for them. So, it may work for you on Windows 7, but a future update could break it. There are things in the Windows API which exist in Windows 8 and 10 but don't exist on Windows 7, and all it would take would be GoG adding or updating a feature that ended up using something that isn't on Windows 7, and it wouldn't work on Windows 7 anymore. I don't know how likely that is to happen, but it's a definite risk. That being said, Windows 7 hits EOL in January and won't get updates after that, so as much as it sucks, anyone who doesn't want to risk problems due to a lack of security updates is going to have to update to Windows 8 or 10 fairly soon here if they haven't already (either that or switch off of Windows entirely). So, it really doesn't make sense at this point for GoG to put in any effort to ensure that Galaxy works on Windows 7.
I just got access to the beta today. I have imported all my platforms. I like that the app shows me what information is imported when I connect a different platform, but I wish I could see that again later. I'd like to know which games will not sync achievements if I play them through the GoG launcher.

The platform did not automatically load my friends from other platforms. I have an empty GoG friend list.

Also, I have ~15 custom tags in steam I use to sort my library. I have no desire to recreate all those tags in GoG. I wish those could be imported. Without those tags transferring automatically, I am not going to use GoG Galaxy for my steam library.

Hello ALL! I got in BETA TODAY! but boo, Steam beta came out long time ago for me and I'm already hooked to steam new beta than GOG 2.0. Sorry guys!
Why in the world did you people feel the need to add "Recently played by others" category? please please get rid of that, I want to use recent to quickly hop back and forth between MY recent games but it shows 3 of mine, and 4 of games I neither like nor own?

Its a terrible idea, at least give me the option to get rid of it
Please add Twitch library integration
why not make code opensource ? by this step possible to offload large piece of work to community, also it will be a lot easier to support uncommon distribution like windows 7 or exherbo linux..

anyway cdn network and other infrastructure is hosted on gog servers, i see no reason to keep code closed, it's shame ? or maybe fear of discovering very old bugs which works perfectly ?

Well, fudge. Now I may need to think of switching to Win 8 at some point. But, thanks for the info.
Hello there!

Just got the beta invite in my inbox yesterday, very impressed so far - love the design and library management tools!
I'm impressed by this new interface !
It's nice , clean and fast.

It worked perfectly for my other launchers, except PSN from Sony. I can't connect myself to the servers (time out...)
Liking the beta so far!

I have a suggestion. I would like a way to filter/hide duplicates between all the platforms. I am getting a good amount of duplicates.

I also second this.

I love Galaxy 2.0 so far, I noticed that it's planned to make the Launchers launch and close when we decide to play the game associated to it. I was wondering if it's possible to make it auto login alongside this, because honestly I play on some of these launchers(Uplay, EGS, Xbox), so little that I often have to login again whenever I launch them. Which at that point it would be the same as going through the launcher.
I also find GOG Galaxy 2.0 great ! Very good job !

There is three things I would ask:

* Will you add Rockstar laucher to the laucher you connect ?
* Could you detect the game we own on other plateform in the shop ? (with the tag "In your library...") If I want to by a complete pack, I can buy games I already have on steam, origin...
* (I don't think you will but I've nothing to loose asking) Will we be able to connect a steam link to gog galaxy 2 ? I bought this device, and it's great to play some games on my tv (gta, tomb raider, the witcher...)

Thank you for your time and the great job !

PS : I must stop to say great every sentences, people will think that I'm Donald Trump...

PS2 : Could you investigate If Joe Biden's son have an account with hacked games ? ;-)
Frostunk achivements pictures are not displayed, This is only issue of Frostpunk

Some of the games from steam didn't show up like I have DreadOut which shows and DreadOut Keepers of the dark not showing in GOG. I have Blair Witch game on my wishlist in steam and GOG shows that I already have it. I checked all my PlayStation games and they showed all its really cool feature that I can connect my PSN :) There is a software Caffeine I have on my steam and on GOG shows as a separate game with the same name.

Having trouble downloading the closed beta. Says GOG Galaxy is currently running and asks to close all instances of it, even though GOG isn't running. Any tips?
