Thanks for answering. The file you named is not there. I have something called galaxy-plugin-twitch-master.zip that I extracted. I changed the name to the one you said but it's still not working... I bet I don't know hot to get the real file...

Yeah that's the wrong download, you downloaded the master and not the release.

Extract it, put it into the plugin -> installed folder. That will work.

Same issue over here. Also got freaked out due to the funny URL in the e-mail. I wouldn't think https://www.gogalaxy.com is a legitimate website from GOG as it is missing a 'g'.

Bitdefender Total Security detected GOG Galaxy 2.0 download as a threat.

Uninstall Bitdefender Total Security, installed free Avast! and no issues with virus detection.

I was able to connect to XBox Live, Epic Games Store, Origin, PlayStation Network, Steam and Uplay with no issue.

I'd like to request the ability to connect a game to a locally stored video that can be launched to act as a preview video. It'd be really nice to be able to quickly see some gameplay when looking through your library and I think this would be the easiest way to implement it. I don't have access to the beta yet, but what I've seen looks awesome! Thanks!

Kinda bummer that uPlay achievements don't work. Galaxy 2.0 shows achievements but those aren't uPlay achievements but uPlay challenges and they're locked even when unlocked on uPlay itself.

I signed up for the beta over 2 months ago. How long do the invites normally take?

Based on what various folks have said about when they got their e-mail confirming that they signed up and when they got their invite e-mail, only folks who signed up within the first couple of days have gotten an invite thus far. The announcement was on May 22nd, and I think that the latest I've seen anyone who's gotten an invite claim they signed up was the 24th (though given how people are in different time zones, the dates people give could be off by a day in comparison to what it would be for someone else reading it). The announcement of the beta opening was on June 24th, so it's been nearly 3 months that they've been giving out invites (which they've said is first come, first served). So, at the current rate, I'm not sure that it would be all that far off to count the number of days after the announcement you signed up and get approximately the number of months that you're going to have to wait from when the beta actually started.

Really, we have no clue. We don't know how many people signed up at any given point in time, how many people GoG has sent invites to thus far, or at what pace they're giving out invites. If you signed up close to May 24th, then you may get an invite soon, or you may not, but if you signed up much after that (and two months ago would be in July and well after the sign-ups started), then unless they start handing out invites at a much faster pace, then you're going to have to wait quite a while. At the current pace, if you signed up in July, I'm not sure that you'd get an invite next year, let alone this year. However, they have stated that everyone who signed up will get an invite eventually, so my guess is that at some point, they'll start sending out invites faster. But as to when that would be, or when it would result in you getting an invite, I have no idea.

Really, at this point, you just have to wait for an invite to show up and try not to worry about whether you're going to get invited soon, since you probably won't be. Most of us won't be unless they really pick up the pace.

Loving Gog Galaxy 2 so far. I have a few issues with it but it looks like they're all known issues or have already been reported here. So I really just wanted to post and say how I love the UI, performance, and not having to dig through multiple launchers to find my games. Great job!

One thing I'm wondering, the old Gog Galaxy had the option, besides the PLAY button, to run other executables depending on the game. You clicked Other or something like that, and maybe the game would offer you to run a level editor that came with the game, or a 3DFX / Software acceleration version of the exe file, or something like that. I'm not seeing anything like that.

Also there was a Goodies button for stuff like manuals and wallpapers and this is also absent.

Is this something I'm just not finding, or something that'll be added once we're out of beta, or what?

In general everything is working fine and looks good to have all accounts in one place.
However after few days mapping to Epic store and Uplay stopped working with:

"Plugin stop working
Retry"

Howewer it is not working.

Is there any way to see the wishlisted games on the client?

I can only find them if I go to the cart, then some of the appear at the bottom of the page...


EDIT: Also when i see the profile settings and Subscriptions, then there is a link for the wishlist in wishilist alert.
