klappis: Is there a way to backup all installed games all at the same time? I am going to reinstall my OS and I don't feel like reinstalling every GOG game I have installed now one by one.
If you installed them all in the same folder, just backup that folder, copy it in the new system, and after reinstalling Galaxy, tell it to scan that folder.
Maybe it will download something here and there, but mostly just to check that all the files are there.

WARNING:
Saved games folders are another story, if all your games use the cloud, and it is updated, there you should be covered, but if some games just save locally, you need to check every game where it puts those files.

I can't start Galaxy, I get an error message that says "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000102). Click OK to close the application."

I'm using Windows 10, I never used to have any issues with Galaxy. I can still manually launch *some* games, but others (i.e. Homeworld Remastered) try and fail to open Galaxy even if I try to launch them manually.
I still want my old library view back. it served my needs so much better then the current one.

You still can use it.

1) Browse the forum from Galaxy

2) Click "My Settings" (on top of the page)

3) Click "My Account" (near your little avatar in the page)

4) Bookmark the page using the "Flag" near the arrows on top of Galaxy

5) Now on the left column you'll have that page listed as "GOG.com", clicking with right button you can rename the bookmark..

Yes, that interface is what my instructions where for.

You can browse the forum from Galaxy, I'm writing from it right now.
And you can also bookmark forum pages from it.

To access the forum is not exactly straightforward anyway.

1) From Galaxy, access the GOG store page ("Store" or "Home" depending where the link is)

2) Select a game to see its page (still in the store)

3) On the right of the page, in the "Game details" section there's a link to its "Forum discussion", click it

4) Now you are browsing the forum from Galaxy, and you can bookmark the page with the flag icon on the top of the client (near the arrows)

Once there you can follow the instructions I posted previously to access the old library interface.

thank you this worked like a charm.
Where is data being stored for other connected services? I wanted to remove these from my library as they've all long disconnected, but I can't see any way to do that other can re-connecting and disconnecting for each. However, the Origin option no longer works, and I don't have the Amazon plug-in any more.

I've tried uninstalling the app and deleting program folders (that I could find), but when I re-install, it's still populating my game library from these services. It makes me wonder where this data is stored, and is worrying that it doesn't remove with uninstallation.

I've ended up reinstalling 1.2 as 2.0 just seems too buggy for prime-time.
2.0.74 (336), the first client update in close to 6 months, was released on 04/29/24
When installing GOG galaxy 2.0, Windows reports that the publisher is unknown, and virustotal indicates that the executable is not digitally signed. I think the digital signature certificate has expired following the last update.

Edit:

Ultimately, the error with the digital signature is caused by the online installer of the application. I downloaded the offline installer and Smart Screen recognizes the validity of the digital signature without any problem.

I don't know much about programming, but it is likely that there is an outdated instruction in the online installer after the last update of the store.

Playstation Integration is still not working ... Is there a solution ?
GOG is my favorite digital store, but Galaxy 2.0 sucks. I have reinstalled version 1.2 because it is simply aberrant to use the new version.

I remember when there was a small download manager that fulfilled its function perfectly, without so much useless garbage that they wanted to put into the application, and that they did wrong, which is the worst.

I'm going to die and this garbage is going to remain in beta, because it seems like they're trying hard to do things wrong.
I have a feeling that there is a lot of backend-related work going on.
Why does GOG Galaxy use upper and lowercase letters and create an extra !downloads folder when downloading extra's and game setups to Galaxy's default other downloads folder but if you use a custom folder with a different path the folders are all lowercase and no !download folder?

I prefer the latter one the one with lowercase but still it's kinda weird GOG Galaxy isn't coherent on that part. Sure it's nothing big but the GOG Galaxy dev team should change that otherwise you can't mix since different folders have uppercase and other's don't.

What makes you say that? Personally I'm not seeing proper communication from the dev team that's supposedly working on this. Even this subforum is largely unmoderated with bots posting spam/scam threads.

It's absurd to me how Playnite can do so much with so little in terms of resources, and GOG Galaxy simply floats around like a piece of driftwood.
