Got a little bit tired of Constructor and rolled a character in Daggerfall (maybe I will beat the game this time :P).

Daggerfall, I never finished that one, maybe I'll retake it one of these days.

I was about to begin with Dragon's Dogma (a game I got in my first and only participation in a giveaway) but I am going to begin No Man's Sky, I am really curious to see if it's as terrible as many people say or if it finally improved after all the updates.

It's definitely not terrible. I fired it up last August when they released the NEXT update. I've been playing nothing else ever since.

It was never a *bad* game - I just think people sort of hyped up their own expectations of it. It was sort of a wandering exploration game (initially) that you could also jump into space and fly.

I found it more than enjoyable initially, and I think it's only become more enormous since then.
Temple of Elemental Evil with Circle of Eight (Co8) 8.0.1 New Content version with Temple+

phew, that's some work
I played ToEE more than once, beat twice but never managed to play this new city (Verbobonc) they added in Co8, always dropp at this point due to exhaustion (Temple itself and elemental nodes, especially Fire Node, ugh).

Found a walkthrough on their forum, dig out old saves and try to resume my journey.
Trying out the European version of ActRaiser, which is rather interesting with what it did to the action stages (the simulation stages seem to be the same as in the US version). I decided to play around with a glitch, and I narrowly avoided a softlock.
Divine Divinity
One of those huge RPGs that was high up in my backlog. It's sort of a crossover between Baldur's Gate and Diablo.
I'm loving it! I want to play Beyond and Divinity II before I start the Original Sins games - pretty sure those will not be for this year... or the next.
Sticking to a new run with Fallout New Vegas. Trying to decide whether to go yes man/independent Vegas or NCR.
Played some spellforce platinum since i really liked spellforce 2 shadow wars but never played properly the first spellforce.
I think i bought spellforce platinum like 2 or 3 years ago and only played it a little like getting to the first human monument and stopped right there.
Now i played like 2 days and cleared Eloni. The impression for now is positive.
Still, playing Septerra Core, getting closer and closer to the Endgame. The closer to the end the bigger “dungeons” are in game. Some are fine, some are tedious and mind numbing. Still the story is good enough to continue.

I really enjoyed Septerra Core, one of the first JRPGs I played and also one of the first games I bought on GOG. But I agree the end dragged on a little too much.
I'm getting back into X-Wing lately. This game is wonderful in most ways yet upholds the eternal truism that protect/escort missions always suck. I know I've beaten the fourth mission in which you have to keep the stupid medical ship from being blown up but I forget how I did it...
With the exception of a few ticks (like Magnus falling forever through the floor in that underground bunker after loading, and Farrows annoying monologue every time she fights), Mutant Year Zero is absolutely, amazingly funny and brilliant with it's gameplay and links to our current culture!

Never tried or even liked X-Com and such clones before but The Bearded Ladies really nailed this one.

I don't think I've EVER played X-Wing (I know, ridiculous, right?) but TIE Fighter is one of my top 5 . I'm assuming targetting commands are similar (and as robust!) - the way I always beat escort missions was to Keybind / Targetlock the ship I was meant to be protecting (I think it was F5 - F8?).

Then I'd use the targetting commands which let you 1) see enemies attacking target and 2) see missles inbound on target.

That way I could quickly see the ship I was supposed to be protecting, then immediately see who was going after her and take them out.

I agree though some of those missions in the old school Star Wars flight sims are TOUGH! And that was back when games were pretty much all tough / no handholding. Playing them after 20+ years of "modern" babysitting gameplay must be a trip ;)

Well, I did finally overcome it, and took care of the next few missions, too. Yeah, you basically have to find the bombers, nail them as fast as possible before they can fire off their missiles, and then watch for anymore coming out and get them immediately, too, while fending off the TIE fighters that are trying to shoot you in the ass while you're focusing elsewhere. It can tough.
