dtgreene: I entered a room that had reapers, which put me to sleep and I never woke up. (Lesson learned; when there are Reapers, if you aren't poisoned (which prevents being put to sleep), cast Negate Magic, which means you should mix some before doing serious dungeon delving.)
Aha, reapers. THE most annoying monsters in Ultima 4.

I beat Ultima 6 just now. I like the plot twist in the middle game (I don't want to spoiler, so I can't tell the detail).
My avatar was level 6 when finished the final quest. I toughly used an usual sword. I couldn't find any magic ones.
The combats were quite easy except dragons and demons.but the AI party members were stupid enough, often they were not fighting.monsters, however I don't like to using manual commands with them, so I just ignore them.

Now I begun Ultima 7 with Exult mod.
Am I the only one playing Neverwinter Nights? Well I only played the tutorial and part of the first chapter and then moved on to the Aieland Saga module.

Also Im knee deep in a few other games as well:

The Witcher 3
Dungeon Warfare
Theme Hospital
Anomaly: Warzone Earth
Dungeon Of The Endless(May never go back to this one with its crap save system that sends you back to square one when you die.)

Witcher 3, pretty clumsy inventory and battle system like the previous game, only playing for the gratuitous vags and pretty graphix.
Yeah also Ive got question marks all over the map. Looks like Im expected to explore every inch of the whole map while Im on my urgent mission to find whatshername.
Hard work, witcherin'.
I will take on every witcher contract... Unless theres a card game to play.

Yesterday I played with a girl that thing where you drop coin-like things and try to make 4 in a row.. with a girl!

Also now that I looked at my left.. I remembered that one (other girl) stole a glass from a bar.. Well, it wasn't me.. perhaps that is a good memory.. Yeah no.. Well I got a hug and a free stolen glass.
Oceanhorn: Monster of Uncharted Seas

I started playing it this week, played about 4 hours so far. The story is nothing special but it plays well and i enjoy it.
Still playing Ultima 4 (SMS version). Trying with a party of 4 rather than solo for a change, and random overworld encounters are *much* more annoying. When you get more characters, more enemies appear per encounter, and the new characters start with such poor DEX that their attacks keep missing.

One observation: At about 40 DEX, your attacks stop missing, making combat much more tolerable. Unfortunately, the damage range on attacks is too big for my taste.

By the way, I have made a couple Ultima 3 topics over on the Ultima 3 subforum that could use some attention; I would really like to discuss that game, but there seems to be nobody there.
been kinda in a weird mode for awhile now, playing multiple games at once depending on mood (when I normally play one till done)

Morrowind -to chill out to that soundtrack and heavily modded is pretty cool still, my char has a family now, husband, pregnant, and a house full of hired npcs. decades playing and have yet to finish the storyline lol

Victor Vran - when I want a few minutes of mindless gorgeous action, bonus to hear 'that' voice

Stonekeep- nostalgic dungeon crawl fix

Starbound- builder exploration fix

Project zomboid- builder scary panic fix and eternal hope to get husband to multi play with me

Lord of the Rings Online- decorating fix since the new housing update, havent actually 'played' it for years

am now eyeing my role playing games to start a long campaign one... not sure which one. dont want to go too old and have to mess with mods etc

After bouncing between games for a while and being slightly distracted by my Civ playtests, I managed to plow through Deadly Tower of Monsters yesterday. It was enjoyable while it lasted, but it's definitely not something I'd play again. *shrug* I do like its riff on cheesy B-movie sci-fi though.

Not sure what's next.
Saints Row 2 and replaying Witcher 1.
When I bought Witcher 3, I wasn't expected to be playing it 6-8hrs a day. Lots of quests, but most of them are the same, still it has a nice balance between hiking and fast travel, almost like Morrowind, but not as extensive.

I'm playing Pool of Radiance - I know I played some of the Gold Box games back in the day but I don't remember which ones.
Dragons Dogma: Dark Arisen

This game started off tough, but once you get some better gear and collect enough RC to hire high level pawns, the game gets a bit easier.

I like the portal system, where you can place a portcrystal in most places, and use a ferrystone to port back there, I think you're limited to 10

The quests are a bit fooked up, for example I did the escort Symon quest, and because I spoke to her father first after the quest instead of Symon, I didn't get a Gold Idol :(

There is only one save file, so I alt-tab out of the game and archive the save with 7zip 1dda.7z, 2dda.7z etc..

You can also have fun, throwing NPCs into the Everfall (make sure to backup/archive your save)

I made my Pawn as small and skinny as possible, it takes ages to climb monsters.haha

All the best
