Right now I'm playing Tomb Raider: Legend. Please note that I played Tomb Raider: Anniversary first before playing Legend, meaning I didn't try to approach this trilogy based in the order of the dates at which those games were released. So any downsides I see in Legend might have already been fixed in Anniversary (or they should have been I suppose).

So the biggest changes I've noticed immediately are definitely the cutscenes and the lack of puzzles. Almost every level in Legend has more than a few cutscenes connecting one area to the next, like quite a lot of them. And as much as I appreciate the quality of each one (the cutscenes), I can't help but fear that this affects the length of the game. I've played this game only for a few hours, and I'm already having a feeling that this game might end sooner than what I had initially hoped. I haven't finished the game, but based on those few hours alone and comparing it to the progress that I'm currently at within the story, I think I'm nearing the end.

As for the puzzles, compared to Anniversary, they're way fewer puzzles to encounter. And although in terms of difficulty they fare pretty much the same with the second game, I still think there are more combat sequences in this game than there are puzzles. Still, I enjoy the story, especially at the dialogues. I pretty much enjoy Lara's quick-wittedness when conversing with the other characters in the game, whether they are friends or foes. One thing that I wish could've been reduced are the exclamations Lara's colleagues shout whenever she does a stunt. Like the,"Woooo! Yeah!" etc.
Currently I'm playing Serpent in the Staglands.
I'm Playing Sid Meier's Civilization V because I would like to continue earning achievements.for my profile, it has a wonderful balance between economy happiness and culture, you just need to make it work correctly to be able to win.
Civilization 5 is clearly one of the best Civ; unfortunately they pretty much killed it for me by using certain DRM methods: Basically linking almost every fraction of this game toward Steam. I could say this game is now "owned" by Steam and nearly impossible removing it from there as... half of the game... is kinda some sort of "Steam API".

Which also means, i do not see any real chance having it ever coming to GOG because the work removing all those DRM-layers is to huge... just not worth it to them. They Kinda would have to "reprogram" everything based on how it will behave... it is simply fully merged into the biggest platform now, at least on PC, so Gabe surely can be proud. I do not see it running properly just by using some emulation, at least not without a "special emulator" taking care of way to much layers. which is probably the biggest Steamworks-dependency in history. It is like a game no one could fully "detach" from Galaxy in case something equal would be happening there (not even impossible... i hope i did not open Pandoras Box now).

It can work different which can be seen on Civ 6, which can run completely without Steam or even without any other dependencies. No issue bringing Civ 6 to GOG but most likely the publisher does not bother for whatever reason.

At least this game can be gotten for perhaps 2-3 coins, up to 6 coins for the complete edition using a key, so it is almost free for those who "dare" the DRM. DRM simply destroyed this good game for me.... goodbye and my virtual gravestone has been made by now.

Playing Halo 2 right now.
Trying to play through Neverwinter Nights 2: Enhanced Edition right now. Though it appears that there is nothing really new or enhanced here.

Holy crap it is a buggy and janky mess of a game. I think I like the first game more. Still, there's some charm in this one and so far, the story seems serviceable.

I'm still in Act 1 of the main campaign and taking my time. Sort of reminds me of the first Neverwinter Nights game where the very first act was the longest and most well developed. Followed by chapters which became faster and more streamlined.

One major gripe that I have with NWN2 is that there appears to have been multiple writers for the dialogue. Alignment shifts are wildly inconsistent.
I've finished six missions in Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak.
Currently making my way thru ABC Murders and The Thaumaturge. Tonight I'm taking another run in Robocop Rogue City. Must've played it 10 times by now.
Wasting my life away in Grim Dawn again. Probably making a mistake burning myself our now and not waiting for the expansion, but as it's been delayed, didn't feel like waiting anymore.
About to boot up Dino Crisis, but I was debating on running Resident Evil 3 instead. Not sure, maybe I'll be playing Resident Evil 3 instead by the time you're reading this
I'm playing Abuse, the platform shooter from 1995.
After starting it already a couple of times in the past, this year I finally found the right moment to tackle it properly.
Good stuff, really. A fine example of how you can come up with a solid game even when using limited assets, despite some sections bordering on the sadistic - and I'm afraid the worst is yet to come.
Currently Playing List:

Just cause 2 , reconnect and reinstalled it again.. can't believe how fun this old game is to me,roaming the island and shooting bad guys while you claw your way like spiderman... but the random crashes is just excruciating.
