Plenty new games have been added to the lineup, so finding the one for you should be dead-easy.

Scary good deals are coming to GOG.com! Come and knock on our door, grab a handful of Halloween offers from 200+ deals up to 90% off. Spend 15 USD or more to get a free game, and check out horror games on GOG Connect.

We stocked up on some full-size treats this year:
Get Tales from the Borderlands for FREE when you spend 15 USD or more during the Halloween Sale – it's a story-based romp through the ridiculous world of Borderlands, and one of the most beloved Telltale Games productions.

Horror comes to GOG Connect: Add nearly thirty scary games to your account during the sale, including: Hand of Fate, SOMA, Amnesia, Layers of Fear, and more. GOG Connect is a great way to build up your GOG library, letting you claim select Steam purchases for a DRM-free copy on GOG.com – learn more on GOG.com/connect.

Last but not least: the deals! We've put up over two hundred games on sale with bundles and discounts as high as -90%. Our favorites include:
Quake and DOOM classics (-66%); D'n'D Bundle with Forgotten Realms, Ravenloft and more (-66%); Hotline Miami (-80%), Call of Cthulhu: Prisoner of Ice & Shadow of the Comet (-75%); The Suffering series (-20%); Darkest Dungeon (-60%) and its Crimson Court expansion (-20%), The Vanishing of Ethan Carter (-80%), Bad Mojo Redux (-90%) – find over two hundred more offers available throughout the entire sale.

What's more, every Halloween bundle is a "completion bundle": get even better discounts when you grab all games in a bundle – and if you own some of them already, you just need to get the games you're missing!

The 2017 Halloween Sale will last until November 2, 11PM UTC.
Amount required to unlock the free game can vary between regions. Free game codes will be distributed via email when the stretch goal is reached.

muntdefems: There are 2 new bundles: a Delta Force one, and a Spellforce one. I expected something more as well, but... it's something.
True, thanks for the info. The newest Spellforce addtion is something given the discount.
Bundle 1,2 and 3 of the four TODAY'S RECOMMENDED BUNDLES shown, are repeats from last week so I missed these two new ones. Not the best presentation for additions imo.
Paid out all my bills in this month so i pass this sale .
Hopefully they'll add some horror games to the catalogue tomorrow. White Day, Detention, Home Sweet Home, DreadOut,...

dr.schliemann: Would like to know if regional prices count for the 15$ goal.

For instance, Dead Space's sale price is 4.69$ in my region (3.99$ as base price + 0.70$ you get back as wallet funds), so, buying it, would lower the goal according to the base price (15.00$ - 3.99$ = 11.01$, thus not counting the wallet funds you got back), or according to the regional price (15.00$ - 4.69$ = 10.31$)?

elcook: The final price that you pay is counted towards your $15 goal - so if you buy the above mentioned Dead Space, the base price of the game ($4.69) is the one that we take into account.
Thanks for the clarification! :-)

JMich: From what I recall, yes.

amcdermo: Best to assume they aren't. Last time it said purchases during the weekly sale but it meant from the weekly sale so no free game for me. :(
avatar
Tarhiel: I think they do.
I have bought only these two games, neither of those are on promo right now, and I have received the Borderlands code.
Thanks all. I think I'll take a chance and pick up Schizm along with my sale haul. :-)

CharlesGrey: I'm sure most of them will be on sale again at the end of this year. If you don't want to wait that long, just buy one or two from your list now, and then get the rest during the next big sale.

springtoiffel: yeah, I thought I'd buy Children of Zodiarcs and Bloodrayne:Betrayal today but based on what MightyPinecone wrote, it wouldn't be very intelligent to buy Bloodrayne bc of the 90% discount in the past. I don't know what to do ~_~
In the end it depends on how badly you want to play it now, and how much that is worth to you. It's not a super expensive game, but on the other hand, if you're only vaguely interested you might as well wait until the next sale. ( You probably still have some unplayed games in your library? )

As an alternative, it's currently still 65% off at Steam, if you use that. You could buy it there, and then buy a DRM-free version in the future, when it's heavily discounted again. Might still be a little cheaper than buying it at full price and you'd get to play it now.
I'm kinda dissapointed at the games on sale: very few from my wishlist.

But hey thanks for the games I guess.

sometimes I feel like I "must" play a certain game and all of my other games seem boring to me :D

That's OK, enjoy your games! I'm sure we all feel that way sometimes -- that's why sites such as GOG or Steam make so much money from us, even when we already have hundreds of games. :D
Does Saints Row 4 GOTC contain Gat out of Hell?

Would help if actual amounts are stated.
