LynetteC: Forgive me if this has been asked/answered already but I've not been able to find an answer - do non-sale game purchases count towards the free game? I'm trying to restrain myself but good GOG, it's difficult! ;-)
Best to assume they aren't. Last time it said purchases during the weekly sale but it meant from the weekly sale so no free game for me. :(

I think they do.
I have bought only these two games, neither of those are on promo right now, and I have received the Borderlands code.

springtoiffel: wow, that's pretty depressing.

CharlesGrey: I'm sure most of them will be on sale again at the end of this year. If you don't want to wait that long, just buy one or two from your list now, and then get the rest during the next big sale.
yeah, I thought I'd buy Children of Zodiarcs and Bloodrayne:Betrayal today but based on what MightyPinecone wrote, it wouldn't be very intelligent to buy Bloodrayne bc of the 90% discount in the past. I don't know what to do ~_~

ciemnogrodzianin: What do you think about Tex Murphy Classic Bundle? I've never played any of them. The deal looks nice, almost all games are delivered for Linux out-of-the-box. That's nice, but I'm not sure, if it's still playable. I heard that there are some frustrating moments, on which it is easy to stuck...
You did not have played any of the Tex Murphy games? I should not even talk to you ;) Buy them. Yes, there are some moments that might be frustrating but the story, characters, humor alone is worth it. Especially "Under A Killing Moon" and "The Pandora Directive" are great games. "Overseer" is aremake of "Mean Streets" and after this you will HAVE to play "Tesla Effect" (you will find out why). So yes, they are worth it and everybody should at least own them once :)

Edit: I just saw that I was ninja'd a long time ago (yes, I am slow) and that you already did the right thing. Congratulations to a very good decision :)

phaolo: - Beatbuddy - 1$ (eh.. it's so cheap)
It is cheap and it is fun ... it's also sometimes frustrating and repetetive. I would suggest for you to watch a yt video of the game. It does not have much story to it so no big danger of spoilers. It looks nice and it sounds nice but you often wander around trying to figure out what you have to do next. Still not a bad game at all.

I am confused. Why is "Shadow Warrior 2" not mentioned here?. The discount is a historical low according to istheranydeal and it's a good one as well imo.

Hi. Does it take some time to get the free game Tales from the Borderlands? Definetly bought games worth more than 12,79€. But they were always single purchases. If i calculate the paid amount, it exceeds the statet 12,79€. Create a support ticket or wait till I get the email. Haven't got the emails of the last purchases of games so far.

GOG usually sends those confirmations at once so I'd guess that those including yout TftB key probably has been ended up in the spam folder? Could this be?
Thanks for the answer. There is nothing in my spam folger. Maybe i have to create a support ticket

Vainamoinen: Any chance we'll see Costume Quest 2 finally on GOG? Because now's the season. :|
I've already played through it on Steam, and most likely won't play it again. I'll still buy it here if it's released, just to support he choice.

Hey, thanks for your opinion!
I love adventure games, but for some reason I've missed the whole Tex series. It's always great to find out that something amazing is still awaiting to be played :) Old gems like that tend to give me more satisfaction then new releases.

Your opinion have not influenced my decision to buy the games, but I think it may significantly shorten time to be spent by Tex in my backlog ;)
