I still haven't played all the games i bought from the last sale, but I can't say no to these prices. I've narrowed it down to 8 games, which I of course won't play before the next sale, but oh well, it can't be helped.

I'll try to not make it more than the 9, but eh... any game I absolutely should get this sale? I might have it already, but if someone can suggest something not super mainstream (since the odds of me having it already would be greater), but still very, very worth buying, I might be interested.

Ps. The games I'm buying already are: fear, blood 1+2, return to castle wolfenstein, quake 1+2, the suffering 1+2

CharlesGrey: Or do we just have to wait until after the sale?

JMich: Did you check your email for a code?
Turns out it was my mistake -- I guess I expected it to be added automatically, or at least some kind of notification on the website, similar to other free games in past sales. And I didn't notice any e-mails, because I set up a separate folder for GOG related mail a while back, and forgot to check that one. Due to your comment I just checked again, and it turns out the notification/game code was there -- Thanks!

Sounds like you enjoy Action games/ FPS -- Have you already played Undying?

CharlesGrey: For what it's worth, it's currently still 75% off at Steam, and according to this list, it is DRM-free/ doesn't require the Steam client once downloaded. ( Which makes me wonder why it isn't on here. )
Thanks... but... never. Even if Steam games could all be downloaded DRM and client free, I'd still be too appalled by their quasi-monopoly to give them money. :(

I have! I enjoy all genres except for pure horror.
In retrospect I realize my request is all but impossible to fulfill since someone would need to know all games I own, and be willing to take the time to check them against suggestions. Oh well, thanks for the suggestion all the same.

The discount on Steamworld Dig in the Steamworld Origins bundle seems to be broken - it's just the regular discount € 2.19. If unchecking "Select All", the discounted price even goes up to € 4.29.
what really scares me about this sale is the lack of discounted games on my wishlist.

I would have bought:
• Children of Zodiarcs
• Bloodrayne: Betrayal
• Through the Woods

I would most likely have bought:
• CrossCode
• La-Mulana
• Odallus: The Dark Call
• Zenith
• The Park
• Butcher
• Silence

out of all those games only "Through the Woods" is discounted (so I bought it), while all of them are discounted on steam.
but I won't buy them on steam, because if a game is available on both gog and steam, there is a 99,9% chance I will buy it on gog.
atm it's really hard for me to not buy all those games at full price. feels like I have been waiting for them since forever and now I have to wait even longer -_-"
I find sales of this magnitude intimidating. So many things to look at that I don't even start and tend not to buy anything. Besides, I've got so many games already that buying for the sake of buying is a thing of the distant past for me.
Forgive me if this has been asked/answered already but I've not been able to find an answer - do non-sale game purchases count towards the free game? I'm trying to restrain myself but good GOG, it's difficult! ;-)

From what I recall, yes.

CrossCode: last sale 22-25 September, 40% discount.
La-Mulana: last sale 22-25 September 67% discount.
Odallus: last sale 6-20 June 80% discount.
Zenith: last sale 22-25 September, 66% discount.
The Park: last sale 22-25 September 70% discount.

Nice, but however it's beta for now.
Would like to know if regional prices count for the 15$ goal.

For instance, Dead Space's sale price is 4.69$ in my region (3.99$ as base price + 0.70$ you get back as wallet funds), so, buying it, would lower the goal according to the base price (15.00$ - 3.99$ = 11.01$, thus not counting the wallet funds you got back), or according to the regional price (15.00$ - 4.69$ = 10.31$)?

wow, that's pretty depressing.

tbh I've forced myself to ignore sales for the last couple of months because I've literally spent hundreds and hundreds of €s in june ( the 2 summer sales ). but now almost 5 months have passed and I was really looking forward to playing those games and then only 1 is on sale ....
btw I wanted to buy 1 game on steam (Child of Light) and that one isn't discounted, either. lol.

I'm sure most of them will be on sale again at the end of this year. If you don't want to wait that long, just buy one or two from your list now, and then get the rest during the next big sale.
