drmike: This seems to be the thread where GoG staff is keeping us informed about what is happening:

IwubCheeze: There have been fall sales every year though so yeah, I'm sure there's gonna be something there. Probably not right after this sale though.

ciemnogrodzianin: It's quite sure that Fall Sale is coming and it should be just around the corner. Please note that last year gaps between big sales was only a few days, not even a week.

Monstrous Winter Sale started on December, 1st
Black Friday Weekly Sale ended on November, 29th
and
Monstrous Fall Sale started November, 3rd
after Back to School Sale ended October, 30th

It seems that Fall Sale may start on Monday as well.
Maybe they count this Halloween sale as a Fall sale since: https://www.gog.com/?Big_Fall_Sale is showing current Halloween sale.

If that is the case we should be having Black Friday sale next by the end of November followed by Winter Sale early December.

Not only that, they are also dedicating it to me! ^_^

But there were always Fall Sales...
However there seems to be to much, indeed - it's not enough time to make all of them before the year ends (Black Friday sale, Fall Sale, December Winter Sale)...
Just to answer my question, there are having another sale:

Terrible one. At least those Interplay prices.
Got Hand of Fate with GOG Connect.

And almost didn't purchase anything in this promo until I saw the Spellforce bundle, Added Shadow Warrior 2 and Invisible Inc. too.
* this post is brought to you by my employer and my bank *

Bought nothing .
I bought Hotline Miami. Already finished it, btw. Aaaaannnd... I'm broken. Damn.
I'll hunt more goodies during the Winter sale.

With the price hike the interplay titles received a few months back the 50% discount only brings them near their earlier base price.

Halloween Sale haul :
Tex Murphy Bundle
The Last Door games
Fran Bow

Some good horror games, I know. :)

And as I have heard there are Lovecraftian elements in the game, I am really excited to play them.

It's probably dependent on country as well, I personally cannot change to anything else other than USD.
avatar
muntdefems: Of course, if you're not in a region that uses one of the supported currencies, your only option will be USD. But then what's the problem?

PS: While I was writing this reply I've realized that maybe this isn't an issue of currency conversion, but that there are different actual thresholds depending on your region (e.g. poorer regions only need to spend, say, the equivalent of $5 in order to qualify for a copy of Tales From The Borderlands). If that's the case, then there's no use in changing the displayed curency, and I agree that GOG should have made the different thresholds explicit.
Yes that is it. It's of no help to anyone to state it may be different in different regions but then not state the thresholds. I'm also not aware of it stating how much or how much more you need to spend.
