PromZA: Would help if actual amounts are stated.
That would be tough to do as exchange rates fluctuate but yeah, a ball park number would be a good place to start for those not paying in USD.
Perhaps someone mentioned it before, but I find placing non-discounted games among "today's highlights" of a sale (Elex, Original Sin II) very annoying and somewhat disingenuous. Those weren't even released during the sale. They are in no way highlights of this sale.
It's October 31st! Give us a Legacy of Kain bundle already! :D
Give us Halloween Harry/Alien Carnage as our annual freebie! ;-P
thanks for the good sale, despite myself I ended up buying around 5 games, all deeply discounted so I dont feel that guilty

RWarehall: But apparently I cannot repost the link likely due to some trade scammer de-repping me and GoG's complete apathy about it.
Contact Fables, she helped me when I was being lolrandomly derepped in release threads.

Change the currency (at the bottom right on any store page) to USD and you'll know exactly how much you've spent so far.

I did in March. I was told she would look into it. Months later told me her search query didn't show signs of abuse as only one person downrepped me just 19 times and no one else more than 10 and the vast majority under 5 times. After I explained that doesn't explain how I was losing points every day including most days where I was only posting in the Mafia thread (hundreds of points lost) and how her script is clearly not capturing the abuse and explained about the serial downrepper who we think is using a script to exploit it, she said the web team could investigate; it can most likely be done, but "not any time soon". It's good to know GoG cares so much...

Hmm . The forum software can be still abused via scripts ?

It's probably dependent on country as well, I personally cannot change to anything else other than USD.

Of course, if you're not in a region that uses one of the supported currencies, your only option will be USD. But then what's the problem?

PS: While I was writing this reply I've realized that maybe this isn't an issue of currency conversion, but that there are different actual thresholds depending on your region (e.g. poorer regions only need to spend, say, the equivalent of $5 in order to qualify for a copy of Tales From The Borderlands). If that's the case, then there's no use in changing the displayed curency, and I agree that GOG should have made the different thresholds explicit.

No problem, just pointing out that some users may not be able to change it :)

I'm suffering the same downrepping that Phaolo, TinyE, Zeogold and who knows how many else have and the common theme is centered around giveaways or giving advice how not to be scammed in a trade. I've lost 700 points in just the last 7 months and if you consider that there is a max loss of 6 per day, but I gain one for every daily post and that some people have tried upvoting me just to stop my decline, that's pretty much maximum points lost each and every day. Sounds like a script to me unless he does it by hand each day...
HALLOWEEN!

Today might be a good day to type !halloween in chat on the GOGcom twitch channel.
Just sayin'.
