It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

For a better tomorrow.

It's no secret that GOG.com (the platform and the community gathered around it) is growing at an exceptional rate all around the world. We're trying to keep that in mind as we look for new ways to improve our service for everyone. Obviously, one of the most important functions for all of you is downloading your games - preferably as fast and as reliably as possible.

For some of you this might sound familiar (yep it’s our 3rd time!), once again we are in the process of benchmarking various download locations and trying to get the most representative sample of worldwide results. That means wee need to look at as many unique ISPs / cities / countries as possible, and we need a little help from you! Below you will find a simple test that requires just one click and won't take more than 2 minutes of your time to complete:

<span class="bold">2015 CDN TEST</span>

Your help is greatly appreciated here! Of course you can run the test as many times as possible (preferably at different locations and different times of day). Oh, and keep in mind that we used a little bit of Flash in this test, so if you want to participate please make sure you have the flash player installed and/or you are not using any flash blocking plugins in your browser.
Done.

For the second time.
Done again.
The test just finished @ 89 secs. I'll repeat the test again tomorrow.
Run 3 times now from 2 different machines. Just wish I could see the results of my own testing!
I was wondering why there was no progress bar for 5 minutes until I realized Flash Control was blocking it from starting...

Oh, and keep in mind that we used a little bit of Flash in this test
Come on folks. Flash needs to die already. If you need a bandwidth test, you can write one in HTML5.
Example: http://www.dslreports.com/speedtest?r=723

I hope you won't use Flash for anything going forward :)

Its sometimes big surprise when you see technically advanced companies use of Flash bit here and elsewhere. Like that CDN test, or like audio preview in Google Music.
I know HTML5 is NOT perfect, but not that much...

And stuff like WebSocket and WebRTC can be quite useful to measuring bandwidth I guess.

Done for the 2nd time. I'll try to remember to do ti again a few times tomorrow.

It would be nice if you could share some results with us.
You're welcome, gog! :)

Now I would like to get a free W3 copy + a modern PC to play it. ;P

+1.
Tried three different times. Each time the green "spinner" just keep rotating for 4+ minutes. I finally gave up and closed the tab. Will try again tomorrow.
Done!

I swear, I swear by all your beloved things I don't have Dial-Up; my country just have one of the lowest internet speed in Latam :(
Done.
Will try again at night.

That feels like it made a huge difference.
