charmer: I made 2 attempts to run the test but once again, after almost 40 minutes the 1st attempt and more than 10 minutes the 2nd one the next day the test either got stuck or got into a loop, I don't know. I never finished, never provided any status info or anything... just the rotating icon. After skimming the thread a little, apparently, the test hadn't even started.
The same thing happened to me the last GOG asked people to run the test. What does the test try to do? What are the general requirements for it or possible pitfalls to avoid? A little more transparency would be welcome. I'm on FF37 and don't have flash blocked, btw.
i have almost same problems, 1 works fine but is a resource hogger and cpu/gpu burner
test 2 never finishes, once my cpu was at 90 and gpu at 70 degrees celcius so i aborted the second test, the test also hangs the player everytime, i also use latest FF build, theres no flashblock (i need to play online flashbrowsergames cause i have some acounts there and some have premium activated so flash is fully allowed)
And like the poster said: what is collected/beiing written? there is no timer, a indicator of x time left would be handy.
why does the test seems to use 2 GB of memory in the flashplayers?
When i do the speedtest from my provider or a general IP test service it works like a charm, no cpu abuse no gpu abuse.
I havent experienced any trouble with any speed or benchmark or download tests, but the 2nd test juts fails to work.
