Well, Valhalla was out for me long ago, so... no consequences I guess. :P

That's not a problem for me. Can you imagine I even used cheats to complete a game?! :D
Back'd after I saw a Twitter post. I only deliberated for a few minutes.

This is my 2nd KS project after Stonehearth.

I also funded Spaceventures (post-Kickstarter) and am waiting on that to deliver...

hedwards: I'll have to consider buying it then. I've got the original SRR, but not the later one.

Especially if they're focusing on the PC over the console.
There never was a console release. Just on mobile devices and tablets. HK is PC only, thank the gods.
Sounds good! I've heard great things about Shadowrun Returns: Dragonfall, and I hope they continue in the right direction with Shadowrun: Hong Kong.

I don't really pay much attention to consoles so I hadn't realized that. Still, I think a game like this shouldn't really need much tweaking or compromising to work on console the way that some do.
And since they already delivered us two Shadowrun Games - I'm in :)

Spread the word to your friends about it, the more backers the more story and features it will have, as always ;)
Wasn't the point of the SR:R engine so that they would release multiple campaigns for it rather than releasing a new game every time they wanted to tell a new story?

It's probably easier to release the games separately rather than retrofit the older campaigns to new versions of the engine.

In addition to the point above, some people would want to buy one campaign versus being force to buy one campaign to buy another campaign.

Example being Dead Man's Switch and Dragonfall. Dragonfall was originally a expansion pack for DMS but was later released as a standalone title.

I myself kind of like this model, because I was able to buy Dragonfall without having to pay for DMS.

So there's only 2 physical tiers? Damn, those are my favourite parts about Kickstarters.

I like the idea of not having to get my mods over and over again though, since the mods are pretty outstanding mostly. They port over pretty easily, but people do stop working on them from time to time to port them over and it feels like wasted energy to me. Dragonfall's engine provided many new features over the SR:R engine. Will this new one do the same? If not then it seems like a wasted effort to me.
i would get this but I do not like the idea of a second piece of software instead of having an add-on campaign to shadowrun returns with dragonfall. It seems like a waste of time for a few lousy graphic enhancements, they should of just overhauled what they could with shadowrun returns and kept it as that.

Also Hong Kong I have little to no interest in.
If you read the goals, you will see that there will be quite a few new gameplay elements. Will probably back it in the 15$/euro tier. Fair price for what they will offer.
