By the way, if you or anyone you know wants to back the campaign but is unwilling / unable to pay with a credit / debit card, there is a one way to pledge via Paypal. The CRPG news site "RPGCodex" is holding a community fundraiser for SR:HK as they have done for some previous Kickstarter RPGs. http://www.rpgcodex.net/campaigns.php?id=12 They're keeping the fundraiser open until Feb. 14th, and then a site admin will contribute the grand total to the Kickstarter. They made special arrangements with HBS so everyone who contributes at least $15 to their fundraiser gets a copy of the game.
As of now:
$86,349 | 4 days - left to complete ultimate goal

Minimum rate to succeed: $21,587 per day.

Only a miracle or HBS company can save the day. But it's only a game, so...

YAY :)

I can't wait till it's finished :)
Hurray for mini-campaign!
Seems that the usual pattern of fast first days, slow, but constant mid-funding and again another burst to the finish worked this time, too. Now let's see when the expansion will be delivered. I think fall is too optimistic. My guess will be for the next year.
Hell yeah, huuurrrrray for the mini-campaing!

This gonna be great!

Still don't have Shadowrun: Dragonfall - Director's Cut on GOG?

Why don't you have my gift

<has been claimed>

I bought the Director's cut a while back then later noticed that hey I had a gift code for it from buying the DLC originally. Was just waiting for the right time to give it way.

-- edit has been redeemed - sorry if people tried and couldn't get it I got distracted before I could get back to check if we had a winner :)

Many thanks for that. I really was lucky to come here to see if Hong Kong got funded at last.
I was really looking to play Dragonfall after having felt a tiny bit letdown by the original, thanks to you I will not forget to do this after my current run on Kotor2.
Cheers !

Too late! Really nice of you, deonast!! =)
5 hours left.

I'm wondering, did they not receive enough donations for all of the different party characters? It only shows 2 of the 5 being funded.

They said in the FAQ that Racter and Wu were already fleshed enough in the base budget, a little like the polyclub humanis run for Dietrich in Dragonfall, before it became Dragonfall : DC. So they didn't need to fund those two characters.

What about side missions for Rachter and Wu?

We already have plans to expose Racter and Wu’s personal backgrounds. They're part of shadowruns already planned (similar to how Dietrich's background was tied into the Humanis run in DF) and we're confident they'll feel fully fleshed out.
