Final surprise of the GOG 17th Anniversary!

From its haunting beginnings to a bold new era – SILENT HILL f is now available on GOG, alongside its Digital Deluxe Edition and Digital Deluxe Upgrade!

For decades, Silent Hill has stood as one of gaming’s most powerful explorations of fear, emotion, and the human psyche. Now, with SILENT HILL f, the series embraces a new generation while staying true to the heart that defined it. We’re proud to welcome this title to GOG, where it is DRM-free and yours to keep forever.

Check it out!

Please note that the Pink Rabbit Costume DLC and Bonus DLC (including the Artbook and OST) are currently available only through GOG GALAXY. We’re aware of the issue and are working on a fix to make them fully accessible offline in the coming days. We apologize for the inconvenience.
I hate to say it but I am holding off buying this as while I want to support new releases here my wallet basically is drained from the good releases and I also see might aswell say 80 dollars usd as too much for everything a game has to offer . Well that and I want to to see if any other stuff more fitting my tastes show up this month

Edit and more so most ''deluxe cont locked away. but seeing as now I noticed a upgrade path I will need to think if the base game is worth it in afew days

Zoidberg: Pricing is laughable...
Same as on Steam, what´s your problem?

Shpanner: Yeah. Not surprised. When they get those kinks worked out for the stuff listed, waiting for a sale might be best.

While I am happy to see it here and for the audience that enjoys this series, unless this is an opening Konami will use to make the Metal Gear/Solid games avaialble, I'll be buying other things.
OMG, I'd so love to see MGS Vol. 1 Master Collection hit here on GOG. And MGS5: Definitive w/ MGS5 GZ and TPP, too - while I'm at it.

IIRC, MG Rising Revengeance from Platinum is already here?

So glad to see SHF hit GOG, so...Konami, if you're reading this: keep 'em coming to GOG!

I so hope OG versions of Silent Hill 2 and 3 hit GOG, too - since those did hit retail on disc on PC, 2 decades ago or so. Be nice to see those classics here, along w/ SH4 (already here on GOG).

gogtrial34987: That has to be the worst exchange rate against the dollar yet! (It's also $70.)
No, my currency is "exchanged" worse than that. In fact, the US price because of its weakened value should be way higher... but because Gabe is a patriot he decided not to raise US prices at all... and same can be said for Japanese-prices... both are priced way lower than any "European-counterpart" (with the exception of Ukraine... guess only exception).

I also would not agree that Europeans, which actually are currently suffering the most from the worlds situation... "got to much money to spare...".

gog144: I hope we can continue to see Konami games come to GOG. Thank you Konami, and thank you GOG.
I would be very happy if they release more of their game collections here:

https://www.gog.com/dreamlist/game/castlevania-anniversary-collection-2019

Please vote for them! Thanks.

Yes I'd love to see MGS Vol. 1 Master Collection hit here but I'd equally if not more so love the first castlvania collection hitting here because currently we have only a few in a now partially pointless collection given its a contra and castlevania mix . while we got the contra collection with the very same games here. But oddly yet to get the first castlevania collection proper

What a sad, disappointing ending of a - supposedly - celebratory event...

Since it's ended, it can be said - no Good Old Game were added. The best ones were the remastered Crysis games (though no Warhead for the Preservation Program).

While I was trying to keep it real, and not getting my hopes up for the Mass Effect games, or Dragon Age II, I thought perhapse there would be something else that many people wanted - something that I might pick up later.

Well, nope!

Also, 80 f-ing € ?! They (whoever is responsible for this) lost their minds.

For the people who wanted and/or happy for it - have as much fun as possible!

I for one is very disappointed in this event.

So Konami is serious, I think that's great!

The price is too high for me, but I'll buy it later with a discount. More affordable for me and very enjoyable would probably be:

- Castlevania Anniversary Collection
- Gear Solid V - Ground Zeroes
- Metal Gear Solid V - The Phantom Pain
- Silent Hill - Homecoming
- Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection

And it would be great if "Metal Gear Solid 2" came back; I missed it back then. :)

Well, GOG is now the acronym for Grumpy Old Gamers! :D
Now that's an appropriately pretentious price for such an awful, pretentious Chinese knock off of Silent Hill wearing the name like a skin suit.

How many of your countries biggest coin do you need in order to buy one cup of the "best" coffee in the center of Budapest?
The "old Hungary" is gone

It's nice to see SILENT HILL f in the GOG catalog a few days after its official release for PC.

It's becoming increasingly common to see first-day or delayed releases (postponed until a few days later) on GOG. And that's great.

However, I've also seen some things in the store that I'm still not convinced about, for example: Users can now delete their GOG accounts.

And I ask, who would delete their GOG account when they're buying DRM-free PC games?

Because someone who has bought from the store and spent money on it would delete their account.

Or what's this about needing a broadband Internet connection to play the Crysis Remastered Trilogy?

I don't know, but why is it essential to be connected to broadband Internet for a DRM-free title, except for downloading and installing the game, of course.

Is it simply a copy and paste of Steam's system requirements or a slightly strange obviousness?

I don't know, I like to see favorable changes in the store, but there are other things, including the possibility for users to delete their accounts, that I honestly don't like.
