Which side are you on, boy?

Black Moon Chronicles, an epic fantasy RTS about choosing the right ally and going to war, is available now, DRM-free on GOG.com.

Wismerhill is not a hero, yet when he comes into possession of a small kingdom, he knows he must become one and fast. War is brewing and the half-elf must choose who to side with, in order to ensure that the kingdom of Garundel does not get swallowed whole by the tidal waves of history.
Wismerhill can fight alongside one of four factions, each with its own personality, units, and unique advantages. Throughout his adventure he will hire new soldiers, research new unit types, spells, and abilities, fortify his castle, and pit his regiments against those of his enemies. Preparation for battle is key, but the tactical decisions you make during the real-time combat may prove to be of equal -if not greater- importance. Will you manage to maintain, and perhaps even expand the kingdom of Garundel amidst the chaos?

Guide an upstart king towards greatness and rewrite the Black Moon Chronicles, DRM-free on GOG.com.
I've changed my mind on if, or if not, to get this thing ten times in the last hour. :P

Bethezer: BTW: There are... no goodies? IIRC on game CD there were songs for the game, you don't have it GOG?
If you can find one of old Click! magazines, they once had BMC as cover game, their version had it.
CDAudio is included in-game, but for the time being we cannot offer it separately as a goodie.

Wait... can we listen to the music outside of the game, or not? Because it's what I mean - the music could be listend and copied from game CD, to listen it separetly.

And why can't you? Not enough time for it, or it's a legal thing?

gr4phic: Thanks for reply. Interesting choices :)
Especially the FPS, since these need quite a good relfex and eye ... so you brain must work almost 100%

* * *
I usually play FPS on easy so I can get away with slightly slower reflexes... (Even those I love sniping... hehe)

I played the game 40-45 minutes i was not able to figure out how to play the game, the entire game feels laggy and the big cursor moves like a drunken man moves al wobbly.
I could have read the manual but imho a good game explains itself like c&c and red alert, dune and all good games like these did.

I started a Skirmish mode or whatever they call it, and started the fight... boy o boy was i in for a suprise ... wow
all hell broke loose: flying creatures blasting the living daylights out of me, and all of a sudden the screen flashed entirely white, like a screen exploding and !kazaam! lots of enemies dead on the grass, i was lucky and won, i did'nt do anything just send the bunch of weirdos to the slaughter.

Anyway , i uninstalled the game cause i cant play this game, i expected something like the good old age of empires or other better clones then this Black Moon Chronicles thing, i must admit it was a experience i will never forget. :D

You can find MP3 / OGG files in game folder.
As for the other question - legal issues.

catpower1980: snip.

I'm always crossing fingers to see Lost Eden come here :)
And Dune :)
Oh, sweet! I've been intrigued about this series for a while, but sadly the comics weren't translated to English, so this is probably the closest I'll get to that.

Unless GOG wants to add the comics as bonus material for the game? Eh, eh? :v

Likewise. Still got that one on disc. I recall it as being beautiful and sad.
Oh, nice!

I owned this game but I think I lost my CDs.

It was quite clumsy mess but I still liked it.
Those battles had something to them, even though they were hard to control.

And THAT soundtrack by Stephane Picq..... So great, so unique in videogames....

GOGdamnit, we want Lost Eden (and its OST) here or we'll stop breathing in protest!
any bugs with the gog version?
Stumbled upon the demo way back when and really enjoyed it, but couldn't find the full game anywhere. It'll be nice to finally play it. Insta-bought, thanks GOG! 8)
