Profanity: There were a lot of buyers and there's only so much keys that are supplied by Rockstar or bought by Steam. So they had to order a new batch, which took around 2 days to deliver.

voldart: It will definetely took me more than 2 days to finish all the games that are in my queue, so there's no problem if this is the only issue, gonna buy it then. Thank you!
Don't freak out when the CD key given by Steam doesn't work, it's not for the place it will write itself in automatically for some reason. (When you launch the game it asks for a serial key and the one given by steam is written in automatically and I have yet to understand why, because it's a redeem code for Xbox live, not the actual serial key.)

You'll have to do this:

Go to Xbox. com and sign in with your Windows Live ID
Go to My Account
Click Redeem Code
Enter the code that Steam provided for GTA IV
Once that is successful, launch Games for Windows Live application and go to downloads
Select GTA IV and choose to view the key
Enter that key in GTA IV

Very friendly Indie developer.

His other game 'Helena The 3rd' is already completed and (frankly) a 100 times more interesting - It's a follow up to Blaster Master.

SCPM: New Steam daily sales:
75% off Max Payne 3 on Steam and GamersGate:
http://store.steampowered.com/app/204100/?snr=1_4_4__sdd
http://www.gamersgate.com/DD-MP3/max-payne-3
Max Payne 3 + Rockstar Pass = 20 euros for me.
IMPORTANT NOTE: The Hostage Negotiation Pack, despite not being listed, is a part of the Season Pass.

Steam has 75% off of Max Payne 3 as well. This includes the Season Pass and all the stuff individually. What I don't get is the following is listed as part of the Season Pass (for 7.50 USD):

Max Payne 3: Local Justice Pack
Max Payne 3: Silent Killer Loadout Pack
Max Payne 3: Cemetery Map
Max Payne 3: Special Edition Pack
Max Payne 3: Deadly Force Burst
Max Payne 3: Pill Bottle Item
Max Payne 3: Classic Max Payne Character

You can get all of that, by buying it individually PLUS the Hostage Negotiation Pack, for the same price, 7.50 USD.

So will there be more free content as part of Season Pass? I don't actually get how Rockstar does theirs, they say "can purchase at a discounted rate", now, Ubisoft and the rest use similar language, but it's extremely clear that when it comes out you simply download the DLC for free, from inside the game's menus, and don't buy it from the store.

So do you actually have to pay, even at a discount, for Rockstar's DLC with the Season Pass? And will there be more MP3 Season Pass content?

Sorry, I have the base game and didn't think it was very good so far, but thought I might put it on Easy and just race through it to enjoy it as much as possible (it is a pretty game, at the very least).

If you get the season pass you'll get all future DLCs for no extra charge too.

But so far, season passes were waste of money. (for full price at least)

The only ones I have bought so far:
Halo 4, because I know this one's good for it and I would buy them all anyway.
Borderlands 2, after one DLC had already come out and a second one was imminent, and I was likely to get them all anyway.
Assassin's Creed 3, pretty much because I loved the campaign, as much as people hate on Ubisoft, they really do knock it out of the park on the quality metrics. Plus, I want to battle King Washington:)

Oddly, I've never sprung for a Season Pass on a game which I own on PC.

I've said they were waste of money, because, for example for Max Payne 3, for a very long time, all DLCs together were cheaper than the Pass itself.

It's a good thing if you don't want to bother with tracking and buying all DLCs separately, but that's not really a good deal economically speaking. At least not in cases I know.

hmm almost identical though since my BL2 copy is on PC I still haven't bought the season pass... I can't think of a single PC game where it's worth getting DLC at full price they get reduced so quickly on PC.

And i am officially broke, lol...

After buying two kids their christmas presents, another new ps3 as ours broke, and then god knows how many games from steam/gamestop/gamersgate I can no longer buy anymore games...lol.

As long as the Total War Collection does not go on sale for 75% i am safe (have a feeling that would more likely be christmas time if it does), or the elder scrolls games hit 75% then i am safe. I have cd versions of all of them, so would not mind finally buying the digital editions for steam eventually.
hmm, Sacred 2 Gold has gone down in price at GG. £4.50 here... tempting, but I never got into the first one for some reason. Recommended? I have heard different things about it.

It is a silly diablolike with some of the weirdest character classes (a robot anubis? What) and it does not take itself seriously at all. It is a mixed bag, but it is addictive. Enormous world as well.
Hmm, GamersGate UK has better prices on several games.
Comparion of prices in euros
Skyrim UK ~21.63 EU 24.98
Borderlands 2 UK ~27.79 EU 37.46
L.A. Noire Complete UK ~9.28 EU 12.00

You should be able to buy games from the UK store if you want. I've picked up a few games that were only available in the GG UK store.

Yes, just use a proxy or .co.uk. If you use a proxy you place it in your cart, close the proxy and go to GG as normal, it should be in your cart (its how I got Drakensang Complete from GG some time ago when it was only sold in the US)
