Strangely enough, there does not seem to be a Steam daily special today. I checked the news feed as well and no mention there either.

Midweek special on Garry's Mod though at 75% off ($2.49). I'm not sure I could figure out how to make anything or do anything with it but I think you can visit other people's creations online?

There is, it is GameMaker: Studio at -50% http://store.steampowered.com/app/214850/

First non-game software as a daily, I think.

Crusader Kings II is also on daily, -75%. Not sure if CK1 is also discounted.

I see it is marked down but where is it listed as the daily deal? I see nothing on the main store page, nothing in the feed, and nothing on that page you linked to indicate this.

Crusader Kings II along with a lot of other Linux compatible stuff has been on sale for some days now. I know CKII was already 75% off. Its DLC was marked down for the Linux sale as well.

I saw it through their twitter account, after I went looking for the deal as well.

True, was under the impression that the linux sale would end at the end of February, and CKII deal ends in ~24 hours. But that's when linux sale ends either way.

That's funny. Thanks for the link. Well, who knew I shouldn't bother with the client, client news feed or the store pages. I need to check fucking Twitter now to see what the daily deal on Steam is.

Only to find out it is not even a game.

Meantime, back on gog.com. :D

Thanks again for making the ridiculousness clear to me.
Not sure if it's an offer or not, but all total war games after and including R:TW with all their dlc for £30 on GAME.

My thoughts EXACTLY!
just came on to ask the same question and had the same thoughts when it was explained where it was listed!

this just keeps making me realise how good GOG is!

gOg have done similar things many time.... used both Facebook and Twitter for information without doing it on this actual site, people had to make posts in the forum. Granted not for sales, but for many other things. Bash and praise both steam and goG as much as you like, but keep it within the realms of reality.

yes, god forbid they will try to put greenlit games on sale, for example Primordia, Miasmata, Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams, Postal 2 and all that spam.
Game.co.uk Digital Download Deal of the Day:

SEGA Mega Drive Classics Collection £6.88

Total War Grand Master Collection £30.00 - i think this might have already been mentioned.

Sonic Digital Pack £12.98

SEGA Arcade Pack £6.99

These are supposed to be games.co.uk Digital download deal(s) of the day. its not exactly made clear but i expect that everything has taken a back seat for tonight's Sony announcement.
Just in case anyone was wondering.

No-no, I meant with easy access to Game Maker now, I'm sure Desura and Greenlight will be filling up with many more entries.

Well, so long as they just spam Twitter with that crap, works for me. ;-)
