I actually forgot the one thing the harder levels adds that's new - the question mark enemy. Because when a player is trying to go as fast as they can while maintaining accuracy, the thing to add is an enemy you have to completely break fight flow with since you don't know what it'll do when you hit it.
And that enemy sounds like an enemy designed to troll the player ;)

Coffee going in, brain activating. NEWS at 11.
Doing good here - how are you?

Wishing more than usual that GOG was gearing up for another sale.
Getting a bit annoyed watching independent developers chop prices for Humble to a degree they almost never do here.
-laughs- It's closing in on 65,000 posts. If we don't know the thread by now, we probably never will.

It's all right, I just finished writing an essay, so that's all done. Unfortunately I've been walking around with a toothache for a few weeks now and it's not really getting any better, so I'll have to call the dentist tomorrow. The only problem is that I'm actually too busy to visit the dentist this week, especially as it's halfway across the country, so that's going to be interesting. :P And of course I'd just been to the dentist as well! Funny how these problems have a way of manifesting themselves just after a check-up.
But nevermind, I'm still doing quite all right, so it's all good. :P

Regardless, hopefully you'll be able to get in soon. The dentist being halfway across the country does seem like it'd be a bit of a complication, though.

Yeah, I should probably switch dentists, but my reasoning thus far has been that I only need to visit twice a year anyway. Of course, that's when you start having troubles ... :P And naturally this week is very busy. I have to travel back to my own city tomorrow to hand in that essay, but there's a very good chance I'll then have to take the next train back or something. :P Oh well, it'll get sorted out one way or another.
Are you playing any good games at the moment?

I wish. Still chewing my way through One Finger Death Punch, trying to finish it off for good today.
Beyond that, I've got 11 open games at the moment. (Ridiculous, I know.) Might say to hell with all the open stuff and start up Starpoint Gemini since I got it on the Humble sale and want to play through it before I start the second game in the series.

I admire your bravery. Those types of games are definitely not for me. I'd probably punch a hole through my screen within minutes. :P The only games I've played recently are Telltale Game of Thrones and Tales from the Borderlands. GOT had me agonizing over my choices all the way through, despite the fact that I realistically knew that most of them didn't matter anyway.

Anyone have any thoughts or suggestions for games for someone who loves BattleTech? He's played the MechWarrior games before, and MechWarrior Online is frustrating due to the MOBA-ish aspects. (Sign on, wait for x number of other people to join in, do a multiple-person PVP-like mission, get killed shortly in due to lack of tutorial/experience, sit around and wait to repeat. -.-)

I can't really think of any that are easily available. I liked Missionforce: Cyberstorm even though I could never make it by the first "big" mission! Fun game, too bad I was awful at it ;)
I have a question too - I might make a seperate thread for it. I want to do a "3D Movie Night" - I'm in the mood for making a bunch of theatre food and wearing silly paper glasses. I don't have a 3D TV (and like I said, paper glasses are a big part of this ;) ).
Are there any exceptionally good 3D DVDs / Blu Rays? I'm thinking something Sci-fi action or Fantasy epic (think say a Lord of the Rings or some such). Also, where can I get a few sets of said silly blue and red glasses? I have no clue to be honest LOL.
I'd also (maybe) be in the mood for cheesy old school B type Scifi but I'd really rather do something big budget and with well done 3D (or at least as good as it can be without a 3D TV and snazzy goggles). Thanks!
