That went from here to gone within roughly 4 hours if I remember correctly.
But that's exactly what I was referring to. All it takes is a dispute, a license issue, any kind of problem, and a game can get pulled in no time.
Just checked. I've got 537, and the list is now at 173. So even with adding another 23 items to the list, if I had everything right now, that's still roughly 200 items that I wouldn't have, since GOG says that their game catalog is 912 right now.
Also, looking through the game listings, I got reminded that Sunless Sea is going to be here. Looking forward to trying that one.
To be honest, though, whenever I get that cleared, I'll probably start picking up old titles regardless of interest.
Those are the ones that I worry about getting pulled before I can retrieve them.
And the Deja Vu/Deja Vu 2/Shadowgate Classic/Uninvited stuff that's supposed to be coming our way, probably before summer. I definitely want those in the collection as well.
More than a few independent games, for instance. They aren't going to be rare and they don't appeal to me, so I won't buy them, regardless of price.

No judgments here, I've got an insane backlog of stuff. I've got stuff from over a year ago that I haven't managed to get to yet.

Yeah :-) I don't have that much time and in the last few month I was feeling tired a lot and did not play much. I'll be quite happy when I get three weeks of holidays in May/June, I'll take some games with me and play through some stuff :D

Holiday sounds good, but hopefully you'll be feeling better well before May comes along.

Why some person or group would want their game removed from a place where it gets actual exposure and a chance at profitability is beyond me.

At least in the case of Blade of Darkness, Codemaster's license expired, so they had to pull it down.
