Haha, I've never played thos either. :P They didn't really seem like my kind of game. Good to hear you're looking forward to it, though!

I never thought that it would become my kind of game either (and i never got into Minecraft) - but as you said that you love having a wide variety of games - it was a nice surprise and another genre and something different from Europa Universalis or Crusader Kings ...:D

That's how i got hooked by the Paradox games. A friend of mine showed me EU III and liked it and now some of the Paradox are my favourites :).
Did something similar happen to you before? I mean that you unexpectedly liked a game you never thought you'd really like?

Well, before coming to GOG I'd never really tried point-and-click games before, and those instantly hooked me. I also got into visual novels a while back and I've been enjoying those as well. And most surprisingly: hidden object games. I bought the Humble Artifex Mundi bundle a year or so ago and I found those games to be very enjoyable. I still don't like the actual hidden object part (although some of the games that are coming out now have more amusing variations), but I like the other puzzles, so I stick with them anyway. And I'm really glad I gave Wadjet Eye's pixelated games a shot despite the fact that they didn't look that appealing to me at first. I now think good pixel art is very beautiful.

Shiny! So you play the guitar then?

ElTerprise: That's similar to the Paradox hing with me. I think should give those game a try and if you like it's good. Sadly they aren't that many demos nowadays. And GOG also got me to try point and click with the Deponia freebie :). And the Wadjet games really look beautiful and i'm looking forward to some more free time to actually play those i have. And yes Pixel Art can be very beautiful and franky timeless :). Yeah, the fact that there are hardly any demos makes me sad too. Nowadays I just tend to wait for a big price drop if I'm not sure about something.

Yes! Blackwell Epiphany just blows me away with how stunning it is, really incredible. Which reminds me that I need to replay that. :)

Wouldn't it be a good idea to have demos on GOG when they're are available for the respective games?
