This game has been getting its content cut for a long time, and now due to to console release and cross-play they have censored parts of the game. The original artistic intent and atmosphere should be preserved and not changed; with GOG's feature of version selection, the game can be played as it was before.

This game was removed simply because it features a region whose name and sovereignty are not recognized by China. This is political activism, and caving to the faux outrage is also activism on GOG's part. Put it back up you cowards.

A true classic and, in my humble opinion, way better than modern Sherlock Holmes adventures. A game that deserves to be brought back. A true gem from the golden age of adventure games in the early to mid-90s.

I hope that it WILL come to gog. If not I'm cracking it till it is available on gog, because I don't want Denovo in the game. Sadly Vito isn't in the game. Why did they cancel the nearly finished original Mafia III that followed the story of Mafia II.😭

According to the developer, the delisting was due to a DMCA claim rather than the payment processors (which, of course, creates its own problems for preservation): 'Thank you for your attention and support for TOI. After communicating with our publisher and Steam, we have learned that TOI has been temporarily taken down due to a DMCA claim. Currently, we are in negotiations to resolve this issue. Please wait patiently for further updates.'

One of the games from my childhood I remember the best, as well as most fondly. It has influenced my aesthetic taste and even something deeper inside me - I yearn to see the world like the one presented by the game, it's likely been as influential as HoMM 3's rampart and fortress in this regard. The mix of vibrant fairytale art style and interactive objects looking like they were made out of playdough are really reminiscent of some of the 90s and early 2000s polish and american childrens' TV sets which probably also helped make such a lasting impact on me, as it reminded me of even earlier childhood. The way the levels are structured, funnily enough, is replayed by me every time I have a little free time when I disappear in the woods and explore deeper and deeper (I don't slay anyone with an axe or magic though!) :) I still have the original CD and the game is available on abandonware websites but I haven't seen anyone claim they've been able to run the game properly (I still have the original computer I played it on first time though, I wonder if it still works... I think I may even have the CRT monitor!). It's a real shame because whenever I show it to people, they actually show interest and desire to play the game!

This is an amazing game and a testimony to what can be achieved with passion. The combat is fun, the characters interesting, story complex, and my favorite part is the depth of choices you're faced with leading to substantial changes and effects on the story/characters/world.

For this to be missing from the Falcom catalogue on GOG is quite sad. After playing the demo, it was an absolute fun experience and feels like a huge upgrade from the original. If anyone from GungHo sees this, please release this and any future remakes of the Trails games to GOG! The community will thank you for it in the long run. <3

Remastered games both lost the touch they had, and both perform and look worse than the originals (looks better if you can stand the blurry mess remasters have). I have every one of them except the 3rd installation. Would love to see this come back to GOG and will buy it

Medal of Honor: Airborne
Medal of Honor: Airborne
user avatar@VolcanicLightnin
Contrary to popular belief, Medal of Honor: Airborne was NOT just another World War II shooter. In an era of bland, brown cover shooters with 2 weapons and regenerating health, Medal of Honor: Airborne stood out from the crowd with its massive, open-ended missions and airdrop mechanics. It was the most perfect evolution of the ideas Dreamworks Interactive set forth on the PS1, and the antithesis of every Halo, COD, and Gears of War wannabe flooding the shelves of Gamestop in the late 2000s. In 2020, I made a mod called "Medal of Honor: Airborne Redux" that attempted to polish up the numerous gameplay and QoL issues the original PC release had. I expected it to breathe new life into the game. Instead, EA would go on to delist the game from Steam, making this underappreciated gem even less visible to the gaming public. In spite of this, I returned to Redux in 2025 to put out a v2.0 that polished the game even further and added full gamepad support through Steam Input. Why would I put all this work into a game that can only be purchased secondhand nowdays? It's because I truly believe Medal of Honor: Airborne is a hidden masterpiece that more people need to play. To this day, I can't think of any other game that offers the same kind of experience that Airborne does. The closest thing I can think of is Deadly Dozen, but that's a budget series with nowhere near the amount of polish that Airborne has. If other EA games from the era like Mirror's Edge and Crysis can be listed on GOG, then I see no reason why Medal of Honor: Airborne can't join Allied Assault and Pacific Assault on the marketplace. #stopkillinggames

It is all about the story. The idea of being stuck in the world of DnD or Pathfinder has been a childhood fantasy of mine, and to experience it in an AVN was always going to be special. The characters and the dynamics of the interactions between them is well crafted, and the girls are distinct and interesting. But for me, the story is the star of the show.

I ended up here by looking up what other music Lena Raine of Minecraft fame had made. It sounded very good. Then I looked it up on youtube. There, I found a game that is not only good looking and interesting to play, but it also tells a good story. I am going to buy this,, and I hope to do that on GOG.

I have just watched a gameplay video of this game, it can be found on You Tube with a video called: "Sabotain: The weird Deus Ex clone". Yes, it is a bit janky and needs some fixes, but this certainly has a Deus Ex feel about it. I hope GOG will consider adding it, as we need more immersive sims like this.

Freelancer
FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.

Total Annihilation: Commander Pack
Total Annihilation: Commander Pack
What began as a conflict over the transfer of consciousness from flesh to machines escalated into a war which has decimated a million worlds. The Core and the Arm have all but exhausted the resources of a galaxy in their struggle for domination. Both sides now crippled beyond repair, the remnants of their armies continue to battle on ravaged planets, their hatred fuelled by over four thousand years of total war. This is a fight to the death. For each side, the only acceptable outcome is the complete elimination of the other. Total Annihilation (TA) is a real-time strategy (RTS) video game created by Cavedog Entertainment under the guidance of lead designer Chris Taylor. It was released on September 30, 1997, and was the first RTS game to feature 3D units and terrain. Two expansion packs were released: The Core Contingency on April 30, 1998, and Battle Tactics exactly 2 months later on June 30, 1998. When TA was released, the minimum computer requirements were a Pentium 100 MHz processor and 16 MB of RAM. Of course, these requirements were for computers in 1997; modern day machines easily exceed those recommended specifications, but it is still recommended to have a 1 GHz processor and 512 MB of RAM for the updated game engine. In the distant future, the galaxy is ruled by a central body of humans and artificial intelligences called the Core (a contraction of "Consciousness Repository"). The Core's technological and economic triumphs have allowed humanity to colonize most of the Milky Way and enjoy peace and prosperity. However, the balance is broken by a technological breakthrough that allows the consciousness of a human being to be reliably transferred into a machine, thereby theoretically granting infinite life, in a process called "patterning." Following a mandate imposed on humanity by the Core requiring everyone to undergo patterning as a public health measure, a rebel band is formed out of colonies from the edges of the galaxy (hence their name, the Arm), whose members refused to leave their natural bodies to join the Core's machines. A war lasting 4,000 years followed, with the Arm mass-producing clones as pilots for its vehicles and the Core duplicating consciousness-embedded microchips to pilot its own machines.  Includes Total Annihilation and both its expansion packs — The Core Contingency and Battle Tactics. A timeless classic that has won over 57 awards! Epic battles with hundreds of units accompanied by frantic music composed by Jeremy Soule and hundreds of available mods. Fully-articulated 3D units and buildings, with a diverse complement of unit types — for example, aircraft, amphibious tanks, infantry bots (kbots), vehicles, hovercraft, ships, submarines, unit production factories, powerful stationary defenses, and long-range weapons. A unique tracking feature allows players to follow single units, entire armies, or even projectiles across the landscape. True 3D terrain that units can climb over, into, and around, on extra-large 3D-generated maps. TA runs comfortably in high resolutions and even on modern dual monitor setups, so players can see more of the battlefield. Numerous world types to do battle on, such as grasslands, forests, deserts, archipelagos, open water, lava, metal, ice, crystal, acid, and even moons. More than 150 official units and 25 official missions per side in a single player campaign. The Core Contingency expansion pack added 75 new units (including the infamous Krogoth), 50 new maps, 25 new missions, and 6 new world types. Battle Tactics added 4 new units, 6 new maps, and 100 new missions. A final patch (version 3.1c, and included here) added 6 new units, including a resurrection kbot! Detailed and exciting campaigns that focus on their respective side's leaders, the Commanders. The stories of either the Core or the Arm start with an effort to defend the protagonist's home world and initiate a turning point in the war, followed by a series of battles on numerous planets and moons (using Galactic Gates as a form of faster-than-light transportation), before a final strike on the enemy's home world: either on the Arm's bucolic Empyrean or the Core's artificial Jupiter Brain world of Core Prime. Mission objectives include protecting a vital structure or area, capturing a pivotal enemy unit, or simply eliminating all enemy units. More powerful units and weapons are gradually unlocked throughout the campaigns after specific missions or events. Single-player skirmish battles and full multiplayer support, allowing players to watch and join battles, and form allied teams to share resources, information, and units. Highly advanced weaponry, including lasers, energy machine guns (EMGs), starburst missiles, plasma shells, lightning pulses, paralyzers, and nuclear warheads. Variables such as gravity, tides, and wind to disrupt the effectiveness of certain weapon types or to enhance resource production. Intelligence measures to detect or jam enemy units using radar and sonar, the ability to cloak or provide stealth shielding for units, and the means to revive destroyed units from their wreckages.Votes: 935

Hyperblade
HyperbladeHyperBlade introduces the 3D battlesport of the future. Players engage in a futuristic street-hockey style game played out on the interior of an elongated ellipsoid arena. Body-checks (weapons are included) go for blood in this game as players can be gruesomely eliminated from the game, including the option to score with an opponent's dismembered head. Power-ups, speed boosts, ramps, and simple team management (for substitutions) are all part of the experience. Some strategy is required for play, but it's mostly pure action. The game also features multiple skill levels, 12 teams (from a US tournament league), and head-to-head network play (IPX and TCP LAN only). If you are looking for a 3D version of Speedball, this is as close as it gets.

Frequently Asked Questions
Learn more about GOG Dream list with our FAQ
What is GOG Dreamlist?
GOG Dreamlist is a community-based tool anyone can use to vote for the games they want to see revived or added to our platform. These votes help GOG demonstrate community interest to IP owners and bring these games to life on our platform.
How does voting work?
Find a game on the list and click the arrow button to cast your vote. You can do so directly from the main page or a game's card. Every vote helps shape our platform and supports game preservation, so make it count!
How do I add a game to the Dreamlist?
If you cannot find a game already on the list please use this form to add it to the list for everyone to vote.
Can I vote for more than one game?
Yes, you can vote for multiple games, but only once per game.
Why should I vote?
Each vote shows community interest and signals to IP owners that releasing their game on GOG is a valuable opportunity.
How can I learn about the status of the game on the Dreamlist?
Currently, we can’t disclose the business status of a game before its release due to the complexity of the process and the potential negative impact this could have on our efforts. However, we’re working on a feature that will let you track the games you’ve voted for once they’re released.
Does high number of votes for a game mean that it will be released sooner?
A high number of votes shows strong interest, which influences both GOG and IP owners. However, we can’t guarantee that every highly-voted game will be released.
How does my vote help to preserve games?
All games on GOG are DRM-free, so you can download and back them up for future use. Additionally, we aim to include as many games as possible in the GOG Preservation Program, ensuring classic titles remain playable on modern systems.
What happens with Stories once the game is released on GOG?
We’re working on a solution to migrate Stories to GOG.COM game cards once the game is released: we won’t let them get lost.
