65 assorted games 70% off, no risk of getting trampled!

The time has come to unveil our [url=http://www.gog.com/promo/black_friday_weekend_promo_291113]special Black Friday promo First, let's put things in some perspective, though. There are a few great things about the Black Friday retail festivities, and one really, really bad one, that kind of spoils all the joy for many people. On one hand, you can go out there and grab consumer electronics, games, movies, and other tech-goods with insanely attractive discounts, finally getting those things you wanted, but without the guilt of paying too much for stuff that's not essential to your wellbeing. On the other, you risk getting seriously battered-up in the process, as hundreds, or thousands of other people will be trying to do just the same and they won't take competition kindly. Each year people get injured in their pursuit of great deals. Badly injured! Killed even! Even if the media blow the thing way out of proportion, the risk still exists.

Why take any risks? You're entitled to great Black Friday deals without exposing yourself to raging crowds. Take the digital route, this year! We've prepared a huge selection of titles for you, and applied a huge discount to all of them. Games that usually cost $9.99 are now available for only $2.99. Titles with $5.99 regular price tag are up for grabs for only $1.79. That's 70% off discount on a selection of 65 fantastic games. You can greatly expand your DRM-free collection and emerge victorious from this whole Black Friday ordeal, without staring into Death's cold eyes even once. You don't even need to rush in--we give you plenty of time to plan your purchase, so you don't end up with something you bought because it was dirt cheap, not because you really wanted it. That's Black Friday GOG.com customer love style! The offer lasts until Tuesday, December 3, at 10:59AM GMT.

mrking58: Ps Please add Jack Keane to this sale. That game would sell out at that price (it would sell out at any BTW)
Maybe that Tzar game will scratch that Keane itch for you:
A sinister evil has come to the peaceful kingdom of Keanor, a land of beauty,
Why, GOG, why? Please, no more! No! Aaargh...

Crap. Just grabbed Raiden Legacy, Tzar and Chaos Overlords.

Yeah baby! Yeah!
I'm pretty happy to see that Tzar is getting well deserved attention :) By all means it's not a perfect game but it's an underrated gem and... it does deserve some attention after all :D

gbaz69: Good promo, 59 games I don't yet own, nor are any on my small wishlist :D.

I don't know if I should wait for xmas and hope these same games will be 75% off or higher... mmm.
If these where only 75+% off, it would be under $100 for me. O well 117 isn't too bad, I have 3 days to decide.

Anyone have link to exactly what was on sale last x-mas and at what %?
I'm very sorry, if this sounds rude and/or offensive, it really isn't meant so, but...do you suffer from some sort of OCD?

What I mean is: you say, there are 59 games you don't own and that are not on your wishlist...but you consider buying them all, nonetheless...just because of them being cheap!?

I bought six games, where I was a little hesistant in the past, to buy at a higher pricepoint.

With these six games bought, there are still 43 games in the promo "left to buy" - but I'm not interested in those for various reasons, so I will not buy them. Period.

Regardless of the pricepoint!

To get to my point:
why not take your time (as GOG themselves advise:"You don't even need to rush in--we give you plenty of time to plan your purchase, so you don't end up with something you bought because it was dirt cheap, not because you really wanted it.") and choose only the games, you're really interested in?

Or are you, as a matter of fact, equally interested in all those 59 games / genres?
In which case my question would be redundant, of course.

And in which case the question still remains: why isn't any of them on your wishlist, if you are seriously interested in them?

I guess someone else is going to make lots of shiny loot with it this weekend then. ;)

CarrionCrow: Requesting that the end of the year sale be a two-week long insomnia sale, just to see how many people froth at the mouth and fall over trying to stay up for what they want.
Chest pain and seizures are a small price to pay if the deal's good enough.

nijuu: As long as their are no Jack Keanes/Eadors/RCR etc..id be okay with it :P
I think it should be 90% keanes, Eadors and RCRs with the remaining 10% being primarily games that they've already given out for free in the past.
