65 assorted games 70% off, no risk of getting trampled!

The time has come to unveil our [url=http://www.gog.com/promo/black_friday_weekend_promo_291113]special Black Friday promo First, let's put things in some perspective, though. There are a few great things about the Black Friday retail festivities, and one really, really bad one, that kind of spoils all the joy for many people. On one hand, you can go out there and grab consumer electronics, games, movies, and other tech-goods with insanely attractive discounts, finally getting those things you wanted, but without the guilt of paying too much for stuff that's not essential to your wellbeing. On the other, you risk getting seriously battered-up in the process, as hundreds, or thousands of other people will be trying to do just the same and they won't take competition kindly. Each year people get injured in their pursuit of great deals. Badly injured! Killed even! Even if the media blow the thing way out of proportion, the risk still exists.

Why take any risks? You're entitled to great Black Friday deals without exposing yourself to raging crowds. Take the digital route, this year! We've prepared a huge selection of titles for you, and applied a huge discount to all of them. Games that usually cost $9.99 are now available for only $2.99. Titles with $5.99 regular price tag are up for grabs for only $1.79. That's 70% off discount on a selection of 65 fantastic games. You can greatly expand your DRM-free collection and emerge victorious from this whole Black Friday ordeal, without staring into Death's cold eyes even once. You don't even need to rush in--we give you plenty of time to plan your purchase, so you don't end up with something you bought because it was dirt cheap, not because you really wanted it. That's Black Friday GOG.com customer love style! The offer lasts until Tuesday, December 3, at 10:59AM GMT.

Well there arent any so called big names on this promo, having said that, its made up with quite a few good to decent games :)

Point and click adventure/puzzle only with a horror theme. A lot of hovering the mouse over the screen, trying different combinations of stuff you find, riddles, that sort of stuff. I love it but it's age shows in the graphics.

What would qualify as "big names?" Assassin's Creed? Wing Commander? Anything made by Ubisoft or EA?

Raiden Legacy is pretty well known among arcade fans. Rollercoaster Tycoon is a legend among sim fans. Alone in the Dark is also a well known series amongst horror lovers.

Master of Magic is, well, also famous apparently. Either way there are several notable titles in this promo that have some renown, sir or madam. I'd personally recommend Raiden Legacy anyhow.
I'm considering picking up Soulbringer because of the heavy discount. Does the game have a decent storyline? What RPG is it most comparable to?
GOG, I cannot express the joy I'm experiencing by playing one of my childhood favourites. Rollercoaster Tycoon 2, which I sadly misplaced the disk but still have the box and manual.

You've made me happy! Thank you so very much!
I think I should caution people about Soulbringer. It might be unjustified, but it stands out to me as a rather unstable game from what I've read. http://www.gog.com/mix/games_that_may_be_troublesome_to_get_running

(I can edit this post if there are some solid workarounds for most problems. I don't suppose nGlide could be applied to the game, could it?)

I picked up the game. For the price I decided to chance it. I'll find out soon enough if it works for me.
I just thought of Brack Friday Bunduru from South Park.

Check out the game forum for help or contact Support. If you have an ATI video card you may need to roll back the drivers (or something like that).

mistermumbles: It would be nice if that list was sorted alphabetically. Even after a third pass I still happen to find games that I didn't see before. It isn't that easy on the eyes if everything is randomly jumbled.

The only drawback is that Broken Sword 5, Fist Puncher and Mr. Bree+ are also included in this list. But it's not a big deal I think
Ah, that works. Thanks. I guess I usually don't bother with this site feature since usually the games that are on sale are either too few or too many to do that.
Sweet! I finally got to add RCT3 to my collection for a reasonable price!
Ended up getting Raiden Legacy before going to bed. Figured you can't go wrong with three classic shooters for $3.

Anyone got this solution to work?

Does anyone have the link for the RCT "killer" coaster video for the new tycoon here? :P I think it should come standard with the game. I may try to find it later because it is timeless.

Found one of them.
